When I eat steak, I eat steak, when I eat popcorn, I eat popcorn. I'm not really a mixer. And I can't do butter anymore. I used to put a whole stick of butter on a bowl of popcorn. Mmmmmmmm, buttah.

I get the same thrill Anny! I start work at 7am and can't wait to see AV's face every morning!
You can do the high protein/low carb, you know you can. Look at how successful you are and what you have accomplished. Go back a year ago to what you were eating on you MFP account, might spark some new ideas and help get you back on track. I just do an overall high protein/low carb for my daily menu. I really work hard on at least 100 grams of protein a day and I try to keep the carbs low but I am thinking I need more fat in my diet to help with going to the bathroom so it might take my carbs up so as long as I got the protein in I am pretty happy. I certainly remember early out from surgery being in the grocery store with hand written notes that I had from my nutrition classes and reading, reading, reading labels like it was a full time job! That was exhausting. I find now if I am going to try a new food I will 100% check the label, I want little to no sugar and under 10 grams of carbs for that serving of whatever it is and the protein has to be more than the carbs .
Hope that helps!

I HATE when my family eats MY food! I mean I don't mind within reason. But one time my daughter ate a bunch of my Quest bars, I was like...CHILD you have SO MANY snacks in the house that you can eat, stay away from my protein bars! HAHA
QOTD: I'm trying to think of something for this....when we were kids we used to dip our potato chips in our kool-aid. I wouldnt do it now, but I guess that is strange. lol

Good morning!
QOTD: French fries with mayonnaise instead of ketchup or vinegar - discovered this combo in Germany and loved it. Fat on fried starch - yum! Also like apple juice on cereal instead of milk (lactose intolerant). Neither feature in my food groups these days.
