What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Good Thursday Morning, all!  It's really cold today.  There's a rumor that we're getting up to 70 next week, but I'm not holding my breath.  LOL  It'll be single digits forever.  le sigh

I going to admit right here that I am super possessive about my food.  LOL  I buy what I know I can eat and get pissed when someone else eats it.  Is that weird?  Just this week my son finished off all of MY yogurt, even though he has his own damn Chobani tubes and my husband ate all of my cheese sticks and turkey pepperoni.  He has also discovered that he really likes the Buffalo chicken salad, so what normally would last me all week is all gone.  LOL  And, AND...this morning I came out to an empty box of Yasso bars.  I didn't get a single effing one.  AArrgh.  I need my own fridge with a lock on it or something.

QOTD!  Since everyone was weirded out yesterday by my love of PB and baloney, it's time for you guys to come clean.  What's your unusual food combination?  One that you like but that I may judge you for.  LOL

Time since surgery:  19+ months

B:  coffee, Chobani blueberry crumble crunch thing and a wonton egg cup

S:  Power Crunch crisp bar in sweet vanilla dream.  Yum.

L:  Buffalo chicken salad that I had to fight for with salt and pepper pork rinds and a cheese stick I happened to have here at work.  I certainly don't have any left at home, do I MATT?!

D:  baked parmesan flounder and steamed peas

TOTALS:  Cals:  889  Protein:  95  Carbs:  47  Fat:  39

Have a great day, all!

I get super mad when people eat my crap. Like why?!?!  I have 3 cups of food alloted to me, you have EVERYTHING else but you have to eat my fried pork chips. Really???

I have always been a pretty boring eater, but I do love pb and bacon sandwiches. Weird to midwest people, I don't think so weird to everyone else.

Dashing dish shake

Egg whites, vegetarian sausage and swiss

Mozzarella kale chicken burger

Probably another shake.... Not interested in food much.

In other news.. Got under 200 yesterday!!!  Was hoping for my one year but it's only been 11 months.  Take that negative doctor fathead!!!

I will not judge you for PB & bacon, as it is delicious.  LOL

Stats right now are cal 465 protein. 61 carbs 17 fat 19.

I might eat a power crunch tonight instead of a shake. I have one hidden in the closet :)  but I hate 200 calories and they don't cut well...

I have never had peanut butter and bacon but suspect it might actually be good. Way to show your doctor too. I've decided they set such high goals for us because they want their statics to look good. But I think too many people sell themselves short and don't lose as much as they could because they meet their doctors goal and just stop there. Just keep plugging along and don't give a thought about what your doctor said. Your body will get to the weight where it wants to be if you just stick to the plan!

Love how you put it, "I have 3 cups of food allotted to me..." that's so true right?! Hands off family!

PB & Bacon does sound good, I wouldn't not eat it now but the sweet & salty thing does sound good.

CONGRATS on under 200 in 11 months, thrilled for you! Goes to show you the surgeons are amazing when it comes to the actual surgery but suck when it comes to the mental & emotional factor of this surgery.  Keep showing him you got this!

Keep up the great work!

I don't mind sharing food. Unless I've already weighed and logged something. If it's in my log, it's the same as if I've already eaten it. I'll get you your own food. Whatever and as much as you want. But this food IS IN MY LOG ALREADY!
