Just got home from the Hospital
That first 24 hours after surgery were TOUGH! The liquid Vicodin did hardly anything at all, it just knocked me out. Luckily, today I feel so much better. Still sore but I'm moving around a lot easier now. Getting my water in has been difficult and trying to blow into that stupid tube thing is Dan near impossible (I cant do it for very long)
I'm just happy to be home & FINALLY on the losers bench ?

Sip tha****er as much as you are able (FYI dehydration is the #1 reason for readmittance) but it'll get better :) every day aim for a little better than the last... a few weeks of icky ahead but most of us would do it all again in a nano-second trust that when you have one of the WTH did I do moments.
Speedy healing wishes!
I'm glad you're home. It might be rough for a little bit, but you'll be feeling great before you know it.

Hey, I just wanted to say I'm right there with you. I got home yesterday afternoon. Getting in my water has been a struggle. I'm starting on protein shakes today (oh boy).
Hey! I got home yesterday. It's been difficult, but I just keep saying it's going to get easier. My dr. has me swallowing pills and they're going down fine! I was surprised by that. I hate that tube thing, too! S tired!
