What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Have not been to a chiropractor since surgery, but definitely to a physical therapist. I have had a lot of back pain since surgery, and have considered it. I have had experiences with chiropracters in the past, and I can DEFINITELY say that it makes a huge difference who you go to. Some are truly charlatans, some are honest but not as skilled, and some are really wonderful.
yes as to Chiropractic adjustment. Mine isn't a typical "crack the back" guy. His degree is in exercise physiology and he uses various techniques including acupressure. I have really tight hip flexors (he says from running) and it helps me. I didn't notice a difference after surgery. Keep in mind that I'm the sleeved interloper, but I can't imagine it would make a difference.

Nikki I personally am against Chiro. I had it year ago and it made me worse, so I am just speaking from personal experience. I am very pro physio and massage and yoga. And of course a good muscle relaxer is good if you have a not of pain. But I would try physio or massage before chiro any day. Good luck, I hope you get some relief soon. Oh this just occurred to me, because I am always cold and my hubby is very anti turning the thermostat up I often have a heating pad on and those days when I got hard at the gym I use the heating pad for 1. relax tight muscles/soreness and 2. keep me warm - its a win win!
Feel better my friend!
