Food Boredom
Hahahahaha sure! Anytime!!! Seriously though, because my band stopped working ages ago, I tried Paleo for awhile, and it got boring so I had to discover some interesting ways to fix up the same old boring foods. Glad you like the list. That Portobello mushroom "pizza" is soooo good!!! Hoping I'll be able to eat all these things after revision surgery.
My hubby just made homemade turkey jerky this weekend using lean ground turkey. It's delicious and healthy.
I like to have 2 snacks a day. I have breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and evening snack.
Try deli meat with cheese in a roll. You can put a pickle spear in the middle. There are a brand of crackers called Mary's Gone Crackers which are made up completely of nuts and seeds. They are delicious. I would eat them more often but I have a problem with crackers and need to stay away from them entirely. No self control with those things.
I have recently discovered carb free bread. It's made from four ingredients - eggs, cream cheese, cream of tartar and sweetener. I bake mine with some crushed fresh rosemary on the top for added flavor. I put a slice of deli meat and cheese on the inside and eat it like a sandwich. The bread is very filling and takes up a lot of room in my stomach, so it works well in making me feel full. Two slices are 54 calories total per my calculation on MFP.
