A whine

Got my hubby to help me make those stuffed mushroom caps that were posted on here. There is chicken in them (protein), spinach (i.e veggie), onions (veggie), garlic (i think a veggie) and mushrooms (veggie).

They were so good. I really recommend them.

Yum.

This totally reminds me of the ****tail sauce incident of a few weeks ago.  Sometimes we all need to throw a little tantrum and move along.

It's OK  to whine, but it really doesn't do much good.  I eat for nutrition, for fuel for my body - heart to beat, making new cells for my brain, kidneys, bones, etc.

Food has lost its hold on me.  My husbands fast food or pizzas smell good but I know the truth - it's carbs, junk & processed food and doesn't provide the nutrition my body needs - so it smells good, I accept that it smells good and I make a better choice.

It's 7 years post RNY for me so I've gotten used to eating for my needs NOT my wants.

Since RNY, I've become gluten intolerant, sugar sensitive (hypoglycemis) and no fried foods & little fat (pancreatitis).  My food options are more limited than ever.  I'm so blessed to live in the USA where healthy food is abundant and I can make good choices.  I feel so blessed.

I don't whine much anymore. But, I realize your mileage may vary.

Are you really serious siberiancat? I'ts my life and I'll whine if I want to-- choose not to read/respond. Spare me the food is energy story-- I learned that in third grade (for all the good it did then).

And I wasn't longing for Oreo's I wanted chicken. Nice, good 'ol, protein-rich chicken; or a burger (or was it fish??). Food may have a hold on me some days--- but this particular day it was a good hold IMO.

I'm am blessed too-- but I'm human- so I'll whine from time to time.

I have a headache and probably sound *****y-- I could blame the headache- but I won't.

You can sound *****y all you want.  I read her response to you as judgmental, sarcastic and *****y.  Turn about is fair play, right?

Whine all you want.  That's what this place is for.  Come whine and get it out of your system and then go about your day.  Out is better than in works for more than just farts.  Better to whine than hold it all bottled up inside.  And good for you craving chicken.  At least it wasn't chocolate.

Food lost it's hold, but being a smug, judgy butt took root.

Cut it out.

Sometimes it is okay to complain. You work really hard and it sucks sometimes. After you have surgery it is hard to put yourself first. And with having to change your schedule it can put you in a tail spin.

You are doing great. If you don't complain you will explode. Keep venting.
