Past surgeries make a difference??
It shouldn't, but it's a question for your surgeon. Previous abdominal surgeries can make it more difficult because of scar tissue and adhesions. But I don't think the surgeries you mention are up high enough to be in the way. And lots of women have had hysterectomies and c sections, and later had WLS.

I don't know about the partial hysterectomy, but I had a C-section in 2000..had lap RNY in 2013 with no problems. Like Grim said...ask your surgeon. They can tell you for sure.
Good luck with everything!

I had a C-section (vertical scar not bikini cut) gall bladder, complete hysterectomy. Surgery was no problem. Surgeon did say I had a lot of scar tissue, but it didn't hinder anything.

Having had past abdominal surgeries should not be a factor in determining which surgery is best for you. However, with having had them, you do have the possibility of having adhesions, which the surgeon would perform a lysis of adhesions if they are present, when they do your wls surgery. You should be fine with which ever surgery you are comfortable with.
Good luck!

I had a C-section in 2008, followed by a complete open abdominal Hysterectomy in 2014, followed by Laparoscopic RNY 10 months later in 2015. The RNY was my easiest physical recovery of the three.
