I am allergic to latex. That and just the feel of them makes my skin crawl!!

So, between talk of latex, and colonoscopies today, I have to say I HATE that snapping sound when a doctor puts on a latex glove. It makes everything pucker right up.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

Good morning.  Super late post for me this morning.  I had court.  So I'm on day three of my sudden food aversion.  For some unknown reason the thought of food sickens me.  I'm trying to eat, because I know I need the protein, but it's very hard.  Last night I had half of a hamburger patty and it was a struggle to get that down.  I have a work dinner tonight; a "meet the Judges" night so it will be bad rubber chicken for dinner.  KQOTD - spiders, without a doubt, spiders.  Also, I don't live far from the Los Angeles Zoo and I have an irrational fear of driving through the park at night where the Zoo is located because I'm sure an elephant or a giraffe or some other animal has escaped and I will run into it.  I told you it was irrational.

Here's my food plan, although with the way I'm feeling, the chance of this happening is slim to none.

B: Overnight oats

L: Hamburger patty with one slice of cheese

D: Banquet Hall chicken and I'm assuming some type of veggie

S: Kind bar

Totals: Cal. 833; Protein: 78g; Fat: 39g; Carbs 42g

As an upside to my sudden food aversion, I've lost 5 pounds in 3 days.  I know that it will come back once I can start eating again, and it's totally messing with my head . . . I mean really, do I want to start eating again??  But it was nice to see downward movement!

Ahhh! I hate coming to the post this late in the day because it feels overwhelming - you guys are TOO TALKATIVE :-P

I had a meeting at another library this morning, but not until 10:30 so I started the day by going to my sister's to hangout with my nieces and mom (who is here babysitting) and having a tea party. This involved eating TWO SNICKERDOODLES, which were amazing, I'm not going to lie. Carbs are my favorite - shocking!

What am I afraid of? CARBS!

Time since surgery: 23 months

B: coffee with cream, chia pudding

S: two snickerdoodles, more coffee, Quest bar at my meeting

L: chicken curry and almonds

S: turkey sausage bites

D: Chili Lime burger

Book Club, inevitably I will eat more inappropriate things.....

TOTALS: Calories 1024, Protein 71, Carbs 112, Fat 62

I have never had a snickerdoodle.  Maybe I should keep it that way!

Hey AV and The Team!

I was on really early this morning before you posted for today. I miss you Lades. I try to read every post at night  (it's been rough the last few)

Everyone at work has to be size 0 - 2 and their eating is very regimented. All workout before coming to work (they don't have kids - they have dogs & cats. So, I'm totally the opposite!  Lol. 

iI will say, I'm watching every thing I eat and protein intake is up tremendously.  Today's menu:

B: Coffee, oatmeal

S: Weigh****chers string cheese & garlic crackers

L: sm piece grilled chicken 

D: ?

You Ladies are THE ULTIMATE!

Good evening,

Too busy at work to sign on these days, and too many nosy people too.  Also, it sucks trying to read on my phone.  Guess I'm gonna be and evening contributor from now on.

QOTD:  Snakes, rats, mice, bees, I'm petrified of them all!

Had my physical the other day, of course my PCP couldn't see me so I saw the NP, like her better anyway!   She was thrilled with my weight loss, I wish I was as thrilled.  Stuck again.  I'm afraid I may be close to done losing and I'm not happy about it.

I am happy that my A1C was down to 6.2 which is fabulous as it was at 11 before surgery!

Mid morning:  1/2 fiber one english muffin and one egg

L:  mixed greens, ham, turkey, provolone, homemade viniagrette

D:  Chicken, carrots
