NSVs Let's hear them
We're going on a cruise next week. My husband and I booked a kayak/snorkel/hike shore excursion in St. Maarten. Never would have dreamed of booking something like that 145 lbs ago. I was also able to score some awesome dresses on clearance for our trip. I'm talking $4-$10, now that I shop in the "normal" section.

St. Maarten is awesome! just don't go to the nudy beach. You will see lots of old balls lol....

I love buying clothes at the regular stores (great selection and sales), and it is wonderful to sit in an airplane seat without worrying about seatbelt extensions or crowding my neighbour. But most of all, I love being able to cut my own toenails!

I was talking to a minister and mentioned that I had a hard time with recovering from the anesthesia. He said that is common and that he visits a lot of people in the hospital and they have no recollection that he was there. Then he said (OK, I'm rolling on the floor now) that I was so small that it was not surprising that they gave me too much anesthesia - it happens to his mother and why don't they reduce the dosage for smaller people.
My brain could not process all the logical inconsistencies his comment contained, so I just nodded and smiled.
