NSVs Let's hear them

My confidence is the biggest thing. I always wore black or dark charcoal to "hide" the fat and for the slimming effect. Now I am LOVING buying colorful and lightly colored outfits! I get a lot of compliments, too! 

I went to a walk-in clinic last night to get a strep test done. I hadn't been there in about a year. I checked in, gave her all my info, and she just kept typing and typing. I finally said, "I should be in your system already, I've been here before" 

She said she had initially looked me up by name but saw that THAT patient was 257 pounds less than a year ago at her last visit, so she assumed it was a different one and starting inputting me as a new patient. She though there was NO WAY I had lost that much that quickly!  :) 

I'm pregnant. I never even had periods prior to surgery, so having a baby was always an unattainable dream.

Congratulations. When is the baby due? That is a great NSV. My kids are 20 and 22. I was out yesterday and I asked my friend to borrow his baby for the afternoon. He was like why? I was like I miss those days sometimes. 

One thing of advice for mothers and dads is hold them as much as you can. Best feeling ever when they fall asleep on you. 

April 15. The due date is quickly approaching!

Wow that will be here before you know it. Do you know if it is a boy or a girl?

My daughter comes home next week for a week. I am looking forward to it.

Your NSV just messed-up what was a good make-up day. 

A dream of mine was to go to Mexico to see the monarch butterflies over-winter in the mountains, the catch it took planes, autos, and horseback to get to the vantage point in the mountains to see the best view, and thousands of steps.  I made the trip last month, so amazing, I couldn't walk for a week after but I did it and lived to tell the tale.

So pretty. When they migrate we see a lot of them on their way.
