Good morning! A warm and sunny day today, with 'special' weather warnings for the next few days.

Pet peeve: Drivers who don't make room for lane changers near major freeway exits. As I'm relatively new to SW Ontario and to driving on the 401, I get really annoyed when the convoy of semis in the right lane won't let me get into the exit lane, and I end up driving miles out of my way to the next exit. This has happened more than once in the past few months, since I am not an aggressive driver (yet), and the semis are huge. I do try to get into the exit lane as early as possible, and do use my signal light. Is there some technique or protocol for this situation? Suggestions welcome!

B: quick steel cut oats with added protein

L: roast pork tenderloin with dijon mustard and a small banana

D: chicken breast and grape tomatoes

S1: HB egg, S2: frozen mixed berries

I aim for my spot waaaaay ahead of time and try not to die in one of the worst stretches of highway in NA (the 401 in Southern Ontario).  It is also now under construction which makes it even more fun/challenging.   I also look for cars that are nicer than mine because they are more likely to get out of the way and let me merge :)

Mostly lurking lately. Must get back on the band wagon have been having splitting headaches and my stomach has been talking to me non-stop. As in growling and making weird noises. Life happens.... Will get my butt back in the game ASAP

My main one right now is people that eat in front of me....Stuff that I am not suppose to have which is ok. I usually have RNY friendly snacks in my purse or even in my car(its wintertime in CNY).

My other one is people that cook and then leave their mess all over the place including pieces of food in the sink etc. OK SORRY DH. As if I can stomach looking at old stinky food sitting around. This includes leaving their dishes next to the couch where they eat etc.

Oh lord, there are times when I could just strangle my husband....just for chewing.  Sometimes he just chews so loud....or he chews annoyingly!?!???  How he does it, or why it bothers me so much....its a mystery! lol

So once again, I hit my lowest weight the day before shark week started, now I am up a few pounds.  I let that simple number on the scale dictate my mood yesterday, and I ate so much junk yesterday!!     Man, I am so pissed at myself.  Once again. 

10 Months 2 weeks since surgery

M1: Pantry Selection protein hot chocolate w/ water, I added 30ml of Torini sugar free Hazlenut and 2oz Fairlife skim milk

M2: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt, w/ 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

M3: 2c Romaine, 2.4oz chicken breast, 28g Sargento RF mozz cheese, salsa (hopefully the chicken will go down and STAY down), a few sauteed onions

M4: Celery sticks w/ 2 laughing cow lite swiss wedges

M5: Ground turkey enchilada zucchini boat (didnt make this last night, so tonight)

M6: 2oz deli ham, dill pickles

Totals: Cals: 654  Protein: 81  Carbs: 40  Fat: 18

HW: 328 Program start weight: 309 SW:275.8 CW: 154.6 (12/14/16)

My biggest pet peeve... people who fail to discipline their children.  Seriously?  You are a f*&&^ng parent not their best friend.  You are doing no one a favor (including the child) and making it horrible on society that you raised a self centered asshole.  Ok, rant over.  

Today is my last day at work before vacation and I've started out horribly... I had 2 Girl Scout Cookies for breakfast, then a breakfast sammy, then a chocolate chip cookie (luckily small).  I have plans to go out to lunch where they have the world's best fried cheese curds (I live in Wisconsin so I know cheese curds).  I still haven't found a swimsuit so I have to run to Kohls in a last ditch effort tonight.  Wish me luck!

Time since surgery: 19+ months

B: 2 girl scout cookies, breakfast sammy, chocolate chip cookie and coffee (major fail this morning)

L: Fried cheese curds

S: STARBUCKS!  Got a reward drink today :)

D: Taco Tuesday 

W/V: Started

E: We will see after laundry and packing.

I LOVE curd cheese, yet have never tried it fried...I don't think I should know how delicious that is.  YIKES

YOU HAVE NEVER HAD FRIED CHEESE CURDS???  Now I realize I live in the land of cheese, brats and beer but I didn't think others lived without this simple joy of life.  Think fried mozzerella only the coating is thinner and the cheese gooeier.
