So what would I eat if I could eat anything....
Congratulations - on the husband as well as the dogs! Mine are 90 lbs of labradoodle sillyness. Super smart and friendly, but also very protective of our home and us. I love them.
You are so lucky to be able to take them to a beach ... a lake is just not the same!
Congrats again!

Thanks, they are the most amazing dogs I have ever met, smart, protective, so completely bonded to each other, and so very different. Rose looks most like a poodle and is an attention seeking diva who spends most of her days as a lap dog, yes at 65lbs she's quite the heavy lap dog. But she loves attention from everyone. Her brother is the protector, he sleeps in our bedroom either on one of the many doggie beds we have or right next to us in bed. Dolly is a true mom, she lets her kids go first then she gets treats, hugs, love, she is incredibly sweet. Together they fight lizards by day and howl at the moon by night, no joke they are sound a sleep at 10pm, at midnight they are all slipping outside through the doggie door like wayward teenagers. It's so funny, but obviously I have to stop them as the neighbors probably don't think it is quite so cute.
As for my husband I actually met him here on O.H., he was seeking wls and I was taking myself to San Diego for my 50th birthday in lieu of my real dream of a African photographic safari. We became friends during the ensuing months during which time he had his wls and began losing weight and making many changes in his life. We met and decided to pursue a relationship, eventually I sold my house and moved to San Diego and we got engaged. My husband is a retired minister so marriage is very important to him, we had a small intimate wedding here in San Diego and went to Oahu on our honeymoon, he has brought me all over California, Mexico, Arizona, Washington and we drove across country at thanksgiving. We went to Europe for my birthday and we will finally be taking that trip to Africa in May. My husband works for the DoD and has travelled extensively for both work and pleasure, he has millions of miles flown and visited 55 countries, he wants me to catch up and see them also. I doubt I will ever hit 55, but it will be fun trying. Here is my favorite snap from Paris.
Thanks, it's funny that we met like we did, he sent me a random message on O.H. after I posted I was going to San Diego to visit the zoo for my birthday, I thought he was a stalker. He sent me his cell number in case I got lost when I was here, I threw it away before I arrived. I trust literally no one, so he had to prove himself to be real and sincere, once we finally met face to face it was as if I had known him forever. Once I arrived in San Diego his first item of business was choosing a custom engagement ring and presenting it to me and picking wedding venues. We chose the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, the same place the Rolling Stones stayed when they toured through California. Seriously I felt like I fell asleep and woke up in Kim Kardashians life.

You divorced food, yet you're obsessing over it.
