Does your recipe use protein powder? If so, can you send me the recipe?

I don't have a recipe per say.. I just mix what I have until is "just right"... I use mostly coconut flour and lots of eggs...

I use this  basic recipe and modify it.

http://againstallgrain.com/2012/06/21/grain-free-waffles/

I don't use cashews.. or sweeteners inside- just some stevia..and salt. ..and i use baking powder not baking soda..

I sometimes add protein powder to it ( then reduce the coconut flour) but most of the time s- the eggs and the proteins in the waffles are more than enough.

I mix the batter then let it sit for 10-15 min at least. It should be thick but not too thick.. If it is too thick - add an extra egg and mix well... if not thick enough - add bit more coconut flour or protein powder..

Sometimes I mix coconut flour and shredded coconut... get different texture.

skipping  stevia and adding ground caraway seeds, salt and pepper.. makes them savory to have a base for some pork stew...

etc etc..

a velvety goat cheese having rich truffles within on 180 crackers (having a bit of nutty deep flavor due to a bit of parmesan in the cracker) with a big glass of Merlot having a strong cherry forward taste. The mixing of darkness and light on my palate!

Did you see in the news recently that most of all Parmesan is wood shavings?  Like what?  I probably shouldn't even read the news it just makes me want to beat my head against a wall.

Its funny you picked wine, my husband is a wine connoisseur and I am a unsweetened grape juice sort of girl.  I just cannot stomach the taste of any alcohol whatsoever, even the smell of wine turns my stomach.  So much for me being cosmopolitan when I went to France, it was all still water for me. lol

I DID! It mentioned cellulose which is the saem thing in trees and other plant materials.

Antistick.

I agree with you. Everything is adulterated and the fact is we just accept it. Kind of liek how we as a people have come to expect/accept none of the politicians REALLY represent us.

I am still having fits that Justice Scalia died on a "gifted" vacation at a resort. If "the common" fed employee were to do that..we would be out in a new york minute but becasue he is on top...he fills out some lowsy finicanial disclosure and that makes it all ok.

Really, i would like ALL government employees (Justicies, fed workers, congress the president) to have to follow the same rules to the same degree.

Well when our final choices are Clinton vs Trump, we are so ******  I used to like Hillary but I seriously don't trust her now and Trump is just a straight up ass.  My husband is a department head with the DoD and we live in military country of San Diego, very far from my extremely liberal Connecticut roots.  Let's just say politics are a subject best left alone.

I had an amazing spaghetti and sauce in Mexico City, yes I know it's strange but I have been to Mexico at least 10 times now and always eaten at Italian restaurants.  But I am currently chasing that spaghetti high, I cannot find another nearly as good and I can only eat a few bites also before the pasta starts to hurt my stomach.  My dogs appreciate the meatballs though, they have dog friendly restaurants here in San Diego you can have your dogs birthday at, we had Dolly's birthday there.

My ex had golden retrievers.  My new husband has three golden doodles, Dolly, On the left, is the mother of Buddy And Rose.  I moved to San Diego and got married last year, I will always miss the goldens, they are beautiful amazing dogs.  My husband nearly bought me a miniature poodle mix puppy recently but I felt it was unfair to our existing dogs to bring a small dog into the mix that would need to be brought everywhere.  I am all about fair, equal treatment so I opted against the puppy.  My dogs love the beach.
