I'm glad the collection wasn't broken up. Museums should never be held hostage that way.

I've heard that there are "ghost gardens" in the yards of houses that are no longer occupied. The gardens just continue to grow. That is amazing to me.

If I could tour anything, it would be the "ghost gardens" of Detroit. Weird huh?

There is a big push for urban gardening here.  The city is so sprawling and so under populated that they could convert to agriculture.  But I worry about the pollution.  If you every decide to tour the city,  make sure to let me know.  I'll loan you my pistol,  lol.

The Samuel Whitehorne House in Newport is my happy place. The period rooms at the MFA, the Yale Furniture Study, and the Peabody Essex are favorites. The Fuller Craft Museum is local.

If winters were not so cold there I think we would move there. We go up every year. This summer we are going to go up I hope.

All good ones! Have you tried the National Museum of American Illustration in Newport? Another favorite of mine.
