What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
I was just yhere last week. They showed an old classic. Cary Grant in His Girl Friday. I love the old theaters.

Me too! It's random and out of the way but have you ever been to the Strand in Clinton, MA? They do lots of old movies there and it's just a really cute place (and it serves lots of food we aren't allowed to eat at your seat).

I haven't been there. I'd never heard of it, but now I need to go!
I go to the Brattle (they just had Princess Bride), West Newton, Lexington, and the Coolidge a lot. I finally went to the Drive In in Mendon last summer. That was a blast. I haven't been to a movie at yhe Somerville Theater, but several concerts. And a couple of concerts at The Cabot in Beverly.
Cool. Let me know what you thought of the movie.

What??? I was at the Princess Bride at the Brattle for Valentines! Were we in the same room!?! Ha.
I ended up going for a 5 mile walk yesterday, realized I overdid it in my state, and I postponed the movie. Maybe today...

That's just weird. Stop following me around. But I was not there FOR Valentine's Day. It just HAPPENED to be Valentine's Day.
The Brattle has a bacon chocolate bar. One of these days I'll get enough nerve to try it.
Sorry about your movie yesterday. Feel better. I saw Deadpool last night. It was excellent, as long as you like ultra violent/comedic films. Maltese Falcon will be today.

B: coffee
L: egg and bacon quiche
D: going to a ham radio get together at a pizza place, probably will try salad for the first time since surgery and soups
You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!
Good afternoon everyone! I have had a busy and productive day so far. Finished my grocery shopping and played with the kiddo in the woods for a bit. We collected mini pine cones for a craft project this weekend. It's 60 degrees here today!
I also have eaten very protein forward, but I am sad because I will be drinking booze again tonight. We're having a friend over for dinner tonight. I decided on chicken Parmesan. I will be making pasta, but won't be having any of it. I am planning on having 1 Coney Island Hard Rootbeer at 174 calories and 30 carbs (probably all sugar). sigh, I shouldn't have looked at it in MFP, because I think I'm going to have to skip it now.
My scale has been moving all week. I was stuck for 2 weeks, and now I've lost 3 pounds since Monday. I hope that it keeps up, and the loss is the motivation I need to skip the drink. I've been having at least one drink a week, so I think tonight I will abstain.
I found some lunch meat that I can eat! I got Boarshead Rare Roast Beef and rolled it with a little yellow mustard and it was delicious and didn't give me the queasy feeling other cheap lunch meat has. It was on sale for $10 a pound, so I told my kid not to touch it, lol. He can eat the $5 hard salami instead.
B: 4oz London Broil with mushrooms and a few green beans. This was leftovers from dinner out last night and it was almost as tasty as the first time. I'll post a picture below of last nights meal. a banana and coffee with cream and SF vanilla syrup
L: Rare roast beef, mozzarella cheese, yellow mustard on 1/2 a low carb tortilla
D: 4oz boneless chicken breast that is lightly dusted with breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, etc.
S: I'm going to crisp up some turkey pepperoni and mozzarella for a snack later when our friend is visiting. We'll likely play cards after the baby goes to bed. I have logged a hard rootbeer, but may skip it.

Have a great weekend all.

Yay for 60 degree days in winter. It's in the 50s here and it's literally warming my heart to feel the sun.
Today im 7 months out and haven't tried even a sip of alcohol, yet. I'm scared.

People say they get really buzzed fast, and while I will admit it hits fast, it's not the same feeling as before I had surgery. I'm not really wanting a drink for the buzz, it's probably the sugar I want, lol. I have a bunch of liquor in my freezer, I could have hard booze that had less calories, but those hard rootbeer are so tasty.
