happy friday everyone!!!  im late to the party.  my grandson is here and doesnt understand why i wont pick him up so he has been disgruntled all day.  1 more week little guy just give me one more week to heal and ill tote your cute lil butt around.  my plans for the weekend suck.  my little girl (the one we are tryin to adopt) her father has decided he wants custody after his kids have been in foster care for 5 years so childrens services is bending over backwards and giving him 4 hour visits on sunday so its convenient for him. never-mind ive raised his daughter for  3 years and he didnt bother to visit her even once, but lets not make it inconvenient for him. can you tell im a tad bitter grrrr.  so thats 4 hours fridays and 4 hours sundays :(

S: homemade beef jerky

L: salsbury steak and steamed veggies

D: buffalo tuna creations, laughing cow cheese on celery 

S: fit frappe spiced chai, and hot premier with peppermint sf toroni (if i need extra but ill count it anyway)

totals 902 (still higher than i want,  how do yall get under 900!!) protein 118 carbs 34

Thank you.  As a foster parent I know the goal is reunification so even though I love the kids I keep the mindset that they are going home and that helps me cope a bit but they told us us 2 years ago we would likely adopt so I've looked at things like she is mine and now I'm devastated and scared and worried.  It's in God's hands so I hope weather it's here or with her father she is loved and taken care of.  She is a delicate natured child so it won't be easy on her if she has to move :(

my heart is breaking for you and your daughter, that is just so unfair to her and your family.  Truly this makes no sense to me. I am really really sorry.  Nothing I can say can help so please just know that I am sending love and prayers your way.  Daze

Hi all- here is my most recent pic from this week. sorry turned it before I uploaded it but loaded sideways! I ate at a restaurant out on the water with a great view of the bay. The crab had dry ice under the ice to make it smoke- very neat!

It isn't a great pic but only had the one shot since the flash came on and I didn't want to annoy everyone in the nice restaurant.

Plans this weekend- after work going to get my stray we found from the vet. She starting tinkling randomly and turns out she is in heat--- soo- great...

Other than that- not sure what I will go do. Kind of up in the air.

Attempting photos for the first time.  

One of my daughters posted a picture from Valentine's Day 2014 and my other daughter took some pictures of my husband and I this Valentine's Day (as she was the third wheel to our date because she had the night off).  Although I only had my surgery in May 2015, and I am not sure if the 2014 photo was my heaviest or I had by some small miracle lost a few pounds, it was nice to see how far I have come.

Exciting plans for the weekend are a trip to the Long Beach Aquarium for my husband's birthday.  His choice.  However, they are shutting down the freeway we would normally take for 55 hours (affectionately known as Coronageddon) for the weekend, so we are hopeful that alternative routes will not be a challenge. But, it is his day and he doesn't usually get to have a vote...so we are throwing him a bone this weekend. Haha.

You look great!  I'm up in LA and have been dealing with various ___mageddon's for a while Carmageddon with the 405 shut down and recently with the 101 shutdown for the 6th Street bridge demolition.  Good luck getting around!
