Ummm we have a king sized mattress, that is all I can tell you about it.  It can be slipped to either side, so possibly double pillow top??  Nothing fancy, don't even know the brand! HAHA

I have a post op support group meeting tonight after work.  This is my first time going, it is at the local bariatric surgery program, and NOT where I had my surgery, but they allow anyone to go.  So I am testing it out.  My surgeon's office is over an hour away, and their support group is at like 3:00.  Ummm do people not work?  lol

So anyway, my menu is not complete because I don't know what I will have for dinner tonight.

M1: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop Syntrax milk chocolate

M2: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt w/ 15g slivered almonds, 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

M3: 3.7oz canned tuna, 1.5 tbsp light mayo, 2 celery sticks

M4: Celery sticks w/ 2 laughing cow lite swiss wedges

I hope you can get great support at your group.   Tufts also has a support group not too far from my home, I've missed the last couple of meeting and will have to miss the next because I am going to be at a women's self defense/cardio kickboxing class for the next six weeks at a local karate dojo.  I'm really looking forward to that.

That sounds like fun!!  My daughter is a black belt in karate and I think I would like taking classes.  You know if I had the money and time (i.e. someone to watch the little ones)

I have a 4 yr old king size adjustable split Sleep Number bed...I LOVE IT!  I like a soft mattress (my side is set at #30), but my husband likes a firm mattress (his side is set at #75).  Because of my severe obstructive sleep apnea, I have the head of my side of the bed set at a slight incline; I have also set the foot at a slight incline so I don't slip down the bed.  My husband likes a flat mattress.  I paid $5,000 for this bed so we could both finally get a wonderful night's sleep.  It was well worth the investment...I would do it again in a heartbeat.

As for my meals today, I'm only 11 weeks out with my RNY so I am knee deep in the protein, protein, and more protein stage. I will get my protein from a Premier Protein ready made shake, Unjury Unflavored Protein Powder in a cup of hazelnut flavored coffee, and whatever leftover meat I have in the fridge.  For a snack I will enjoy 2oz of a Carbmaster yogurt or a Carbmaster Protein Smoothie...maybe both if I need the added protein.

The CM smoothies are the best!  I love the black cherry, the raspberry, and the banana.  As an added treat I put a TBL of black walnut pieces in my smoothie...yummmmm!

I consider my SN bed an investment in my health so paying $5,000 was difficult but it was well worth it to finally get a good night's sleep.  Prior to getting this bed, becuase of my sleep apnea, I slept in a recliner chair every night for 5 years.  If we could have afforded it, we would have purchased the bed sooner.

Good Morning.  OH ate my entire post yesterday whoops.   Since i ate completely off my plan anyway i guess its sort of ok.  im kicking myself in gear since my surgery last wee****ep finding myself grazing and i dont want to end up  doing bad things.  its shocking how easily our old habits can creep back in if we let them.  i ate a piece of chocolate and was reminded with a nice hefty dumping why i dont eat garbage.  unfortunatly i was so ill from it i couldnt eat a bite at dinner which was to celebrate my sons 16th birthday so i felt like a bad mom sitting there all sweaty and wanting to lay on the floor.  bad bad bad chanel.  oh well im trying to hold my head high today and keep my eye on the prize.  no matter what or where im not eating a single thing good or bad that isnt planned.  TAKE THAT FAT GIRL SKINNY GIRL IS IN CHARGE.

i need a new matters and i have no idea what kind to get so ill be watching this to see what others like.  mine is 15 years old and starting to get the sway in the middle.  i have to have a king sized bed even though my husband sleeps in his own room thru the week because he works 3rd shift and i have birds in my room that keep him awake singing all day lol.  we have 4 dogs and 2 kids that seem to always be in bed with me and im falling off the edge haha

Ugh...dumping stinks and your son's birthday.

If you love FF chai - which I do too.... you might want to try Inspire Pumpkin Pie on the bariatriceating.com website. Also delicious
