What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Thursday Morning! You guys, I did it again. I thought today was Friday for like an hour after I woke up. I was so disappointed to realize it is, in fact, NOT Friday today.
I also managed to hurt my back while I was sleeping. LMAO Only me, I swear. I'm sure it's because I desperately need a new mattress. Mine is at least 20 years old. So, QOTD! Tell me about your bed. LOL Beauty Rest or Sealy? Pillow top? Do you have a fancy Sleep Number or something that you love? I want to live vicariously through you because I'm ouchy this morning.
ETA: WTH is happening?! I keep posting the menu and OH is eating it! I'm trying this again...
B: coffee, L&F Greek black cherry and a maple brown sugar crunchy granola bar
S: turkey pepperoni with a wedge of LC and a Polly-o 2% cheese stick
L: 2 oz. deli turkey on a slice of 40 cal multigrain toast spread with LC and a Cracker Barrel 2% sharp cheddar stick
D: Caesar salad with 3 oz. shredded rotisserie chicken. And a Polly-o string cheese. There is so much cheese in my menu today. LOL
TOTALS: Cals: 845 Protein: 87 Carbs: 40 Fat: 40
I so need a new mattress. I tried buying a memory foam and ended up returning it because it was too hard and my back hurt in AM. Yet I slept like a baby.
Actually sitting on plane at JGK about to takeoff for Chicago.
Had my appointment yesterday with the plastic surgeon. I am officially excited. He said I was very skinny under all that skin. That blew my fat girl mind.
b: premier
s: protein bar and those stupid popcorners I love on the plane.
Rest of day I'd up for grabs as I will be with my son and family, meeting my new granddaughter today. I have such mixed emotions as I found out on the way to the airport my dear friend Helen passed away. She was 88 but always so full of life up until a few days ago. I aspire to have her chutzpah as I get older.

I think when you are tall the idea of being anything close to small doesn't even enter the picture. I look back on my teen/young adult years where my mental image was 400lbs, and while I was overweight not necessarily obese always....my friends were 5'1" and like 104lbs. I had no frame of reference.

My best friend, who I've been friends with since we were 4 years old, is 5'11" with a size 11 shoe. When we were teenagers, we hung out with a couple of sisters who were 5' tall and weighed 100lbs soaking wet. I always felt like a cow, even though I was 5'3" and about 130lbs. But my poor Amy got **** all the time. Looking back, I actually feel bad about it. I can imagine the body issues you had being just a tall woman. hugs.
Thanks for the feedback...we are so stupid really when we are young....and hard on ourselves. I wear a size 12 shoe...while my foot got smaller in width, still a size 12...was hoping I would be one of tjose people where my foot got smaller when I lost weight. Oh well...

It has to be harder being a tall woman than a tall man. It is also really hard being a short man.
I've never dated a short woman. I was always certain she'd get squashed.
