No full feeling

You may never get the "full" feeling the way you did before surgery.  Many of us use the "full" sensation as a crutch.  It feels like comfort to us.  My advice is to stop chasing the full feeling.  It's a thing of the past.  Measure your portions and re-learn what a proper portion should look like for a post-op.  We really need very little food to thrive. We did not become obese by knowing what a proper portion size is.  We have a skewed view on how much we actually need to eat.  Some of us (myself included) have to measure our food portions for the rest of our lives.  If I didn't measure I would overeat at EVERY meal.  My portion sizes would creep up and I would gain weight. Eat only until you are satisfied, not full.

Ditto. I was going to post the same thing. Eat until satisfied...NOT full.  That is exactly what my doctor told me as well.

And me too! I do not eat to a full sensation. I measure my portion and when it is gone I stop. Sometimes I get pressure sooner and don't even eat all my food.
