I ate the same exact things yesterday as the day before. And will eat today. No point in repeating.

I used to ski years ago, but it's been a while. I doubt my knees would be happy about it. I shovel a lot, three homes' worth. Does that count as a winter activity?

Last year I went to get a pair of those ski pants with overalls things, with the suspenders? I was getting soaked while shoveling and wanted something warm and waterproof. I found a sporting goods store with what I wanted, just generic black ski pants for 25 bucks. So I tried them on, over my pants, right out on the floor. They seemed to fit tighter than I thought they would. I'm like everyone else, and don't want to wear an XL when an L will do.

So a snarky pimply faced "sales associate" comes over and says "those are tight." Yeah kid, no **** "They might fit better if you tried on the men's sizes over there. These are the ladies'."

Winter activities?  You mean shivering, getting wet from snow and generally making yourself miserable and calling it "fun"... NO!  I have never loved winter (despite growing up in frigid Wisconsin) but I did sled and ice skate when I was a child.  My hubbie has always taking the kids sledding since I'm such a grinch about it.  I do like to downhill ski (I LOVE SPEED) but have only gone a few times in my life due to cost and location.

Kids are hilarious.  My daughter (10) had a massive pre-puberty meltdown over her brother taking the last granola bar on Monday morning.  No one ever tells me when they are almost gone but boy do I hear about it after its too late.

Hey y'all. Busy week. No time to post yesterday, barely a sec today, and I don't think I will have time tomorrow either. But I'm sticking to plan and all is well.

I think I'd like skiing but I'm terrified of ski lifts. Terrified. And this week there was something in the news about people getting stuck in the air on a tram or something. Hell no. Maybe I'll try X-country some time but nobody is getting me on a mountain. Nope.

B: Fit Frappe Espresso & hard boiled egg
S: 3 slices of extra sharp cheddar
L: Greek yogurt

Good morning,

I do not care for winter activities.  I used to love sledding, skiing and ice skating when I was a kid, but haven't done any of those in years.  Well, I did some sledding with my kids, but mostly dragging them back up the hill.  I seriously cannot wait for it to be spring, fall and spring are my favorite times of year.  I like summer, but can't deal with too much heat either.

Morning AV. The weather here is hovering just at freezing and we keep getting a light dusting of snow overnight. It was so cute when I handed my 2 year old a snow brush and asked him to help me clear the car. He's such a good helper.

I've never been one for activities in general, winter or otherwise. I've been at least obese for at least 20 years, and I'm 42. Before I was obese I was a party girl, so most of my time was spent either working to make money, or going to the bar to spend that money. I wasn't ever athletic, unless you count dancing at after hours nightclubs athletic. I worked as a bouncer for a while in my early 20's at an after hours industrial club in downtown Detroit called Leland City Club. I lived in the building where the club was located. Funny, looking back now at how different my life is from just 20 years ago. I put on all of my weight after I left that lifestyle. Too many friends got into hard drugs and I needed to get away before I sank with them. When I left, I met my first husband, got married and had my oldest. Complete lifestyle change in less than 2 years, no wonder I started eating my emotions.

My husband is in Little Rock Arkansas for this week. He left yesterday and I'm hoping he'll be home tomorrow, but he may have to stay until Friday. I'm not a fan of his travelling for work. There's been a lot of travel lately and it is not making me happy.

So, my plan for the day. I forgot my breakfast again, so when I stopped to get my coffee this morning I got a egg white breakfast sandwich without the sandwich part... Just the egg white, turkey sausage and cheese. They put it in a cup for me. It was delicious and fit perfectly into my plan today:

6.5 months since surgery

B: Turkey Sausage, Egg white and Swiss cheese. Coffee with cream and splenda

L: Weigh****chers Smart Ones Santa Fe chicken frozen meal. this has a good ratio of protein to calories with relatively low carbs. 160cal, 19protein 13 carbs. I bought a few this weekend for emergencies, and I barely got that thrown in a bag before I ahd to run out today.

D: Baked Tilapia with green beans

S: Light and Fit Greek Raspberry and 1/2oz mozzarella cheese and 8 turkey pepperoni baked into crisps.

Totals:

Calories 733 Protein 67 (boo) Carbs 48 Fat 31

I'd like to boost my protein, so maybe I'll just skip the cheese and pepperoni and have a protein shake or a quest bar tonight instead.
