Good Morning from wet and slushy CNY!  Gross.  I've always said my favorite winter activity is going back inside and it has never been more accurate than it is this winter.  My husband keeps threatening to take me x-country skiing or snowshoeing.  Yeah, no.  Which leads me to the QOTD!

Do you do participate in any winter activities?  So, as you can probably tell, that's a no from me.  LOL  My husband used to snowmobile, which is my idea of hell on earth.  He sold it last year, thank God, so I don't have to listen to him try and convince me it's "fun".

Time since surgery:  19 months today!

B:  coffee, black cherry L&F Greek yogurt and a little pouch of Scooby Snack cinnamon graham crackers.  Don't tell my kid I took the last bag.

S:  Click Mocha!

L:  venison stew and a cheddar cheese stick

D:  Caesar salad with shredded chicken

TOTALS:  Cals:  840  Protein:  97  Carbs:  56  Fat:  24

Have a great day you guys!

Good Morning!

I am not a winter person, especially now that I don't have as much insulation! I do like sledding with the kids, but I always feel like it takes us longer to get ready then we actually spend sledding.

Our six-year-old gets grumpy when somebody eats the last of something and he decides he wants it. Last summer my husband was very sick and passed out we couldn't wake him up and had to call EMS. When the paramedics showed up and were finally able to wake him up they were asking him what he had eaten that day, he names off a few things, and the last thing he mentioned was animal crackers. All of a sudden my son's bedroom door flies open he comes in the room and says "dad did you eat all the animal crackers!!"

Both of my children are like your son.  When my oldest was 9 I took care of my nephew for the summer.  My daughter would sleep until about 8 or 9:00 and my nephew came over earlier and would not have had breakfast yet.  Both of them loved bagels and I was busy with a newborn and they were old enough to make their own breakfast.  My poor nephew would get the riot act from her if he ate the last bagel.  It happened quite a few times, at first I felt sorry for him, but after he did it a few times I realized he enjoyed bugging the heck out of her.

I'm not sure my daughter would have noticed. If I came to a day later, she'd have asked "Where were you?"

Going back inside? OMG, K, I almost spit my coffee out as I literally laughed aloud at that!

I don't really participate in any winter activities unless the occasional 5 minute JAUNT (originally I typed gaunt LOL - sometimes the english language eludes me) into the snow with my nieces or the drinking of (diet) hot chocolate count. My mom still tells my sister and me (yes, we're 33 and 38 years old) that we're not allowed to ski or anything like that. Mostly the sister and I use our mother as an excuse to not do things we wouldn't want to do anyway..."Oh no, I'm sorry I can't do that, my mom won't let me!"

Ugh. Guys! I had this for my morning snack and did NOT like it at all. Just a warning from me to you. I wanted to like it so much. I have the Blueberry Cookie Crumble flavor to try tomorrow or Friday - here's hoping they're better.

As an aside, I think Chobani might be drunk - they've added Sriracha Mango and Chipotle Pineapple to their Flips line.

Well, you should have been tipped off by the picture of fruit on the label. There's a real risk that it might contain something natural and healthy.

Stay away from anything that doesn't have a picture of a smiling cow or pig on the label.

Winter is sketchy around here. Some years we have snow, it may last for 3-5 days, and some years not. I used to like to sled, but getting on all of that crap when you're a fatty-fat isn't fun. And I don't have snow pants to fit anymore. HOWEVER, a teacher of my son's gave us all tickets for snow tubing at a local ski place, so I suppose I'm going on Saturday. I cannot in good conscience waste $25 tickets. :/

B-2 spinach and feta chicken sausages; irish tea w/creamer

L-probably qdoba, I think my boss is coming over

D- ugh. Not sure, will be on the run since I'm going from work to a wrestling meet. Maybe a grilled chicken sandwich

Totals: less than 1200, but it will be tight.
