An unexpected NSV

So last night I decided it was time to change handbags. I prefer shoulder bags since more often than not my hands need to be free to mange other things. There are a few bags that I own that I avoided using because they would not sit on my shoulder and I'd would always end up carrying it.

I was stoked last night when I was able to put one of the 'last picks' on my shoulder and strut around. Its like having a whole new world of options for purses. Makes me want to go shopping :-)

Awesome nsv!

I have a beautiful Anna Sui Coach bag that my husband bought for me a few years ago.  It's meant to be a crossbody bag,  and I was always too big to wear it that way, until now.  

OMG!!!!! You've got a Dragonfly Duffle!!! You lucky girl, you!!! I still want the other duffle Ana Sui did for them; the Fleur De Lis Duffle. 

Sigh.

Sorry...I'm a Coach fangirl...lol. 

I do have it.  I put it on my amazon wishlist a few years ago with the comment about "unrealistic dreams". Boy, was I surprised Christmas morning when I open the box.  I believe there were tears shed. 

I had it put away for a while,  but I pull it or occasionally when I want to feel special.  $800 for a bag isn't something i would do for myself,  but my husband tends to spoil me. 

Aw..thats so sweet!! He sounds like a keeper! 

That, there is a NICE bag!

Now that is a great NSV. As a self confessed bag hag, I understand the importance of having multiple bags at one's disposal. I think that NSV deserves a new bag!

I felt the same way when I discovered that cute little crossbody bags fit me the way they were designed to. Before the weight loss, they'd always fit me waaaay high up on the ol' upper belly roll, so they never looked or felt good. I never bought them as a result. 

I now have a cute little crossbody bag in almost every color of the rainbow. They're great for concerts or date nights where I don't have to schlep around allll my stuff. 

I'd say a shopping trip is a great idea, but that would be enabling a possible transfer addiction. ( but go...and have fun...lol! )
