What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
It's beautiful here. 53 degrees already, and the new 2 inches of snow we got last night is already gone, along with some of the old stuff. It was crazy icy overnight for a while though.
I got back out on the grill yesterday, after it being below zero for the days before that. I dislike grilling when it's that cold. So here is what I had yesterday.

Morning AV, I'm back to the grind at work and the fun has already begun! I didn't get out of my PJs at all yesterday, I was gloriously frumpy. The weather here has warmed up to a balmy 28 degrees, with a dusting of snow. Be jealous! LOL.
My husband and I used to grocery shop together every week, it was like a fun trip with both of us, but I've recently turned it into my time to get away. We tend to spend less money when I go alone, and it's just much less stressful than dragging a 2 year old with me. I'm sure we'll shop together again, but for now I'm loving going by myself. we have shelves in the basement for overstock, but haven't been to Sam's Club since before Christmas. Not sure if I'll renew, since I'm liking just keeping what we need on hand. But then what will we do when the zombie apocalypse comes and we don't have enough crap in our basement to survive for a year?
So, my scale moved, finally. 45 more to go before goal. I made a post on the general boards about my self image, and I'm really struggling with that. I went out Saturday night and got all fancy, but when I look at the pictures now I just cringe at every imperfection. I'm trying to get past it, but it's hard. For years when I was MO, I wouldn't look in the mirror at all. I rarely took pictures and when I did I didn't look at them often. I know 106lbs is a huge loss and I should feel better, but I don't. I've gotten a lot of good advice on that thread, and I'll be seeing my therapist next week. We'll talk.
I made the yummiest pulled chicken in my slow cooker yesterday using canned enchilada sauce. I ate it for dinner last night, and I'm having it for breakfast, lunch and dinner today. I'm eating it in half a low carb tortilla with mozzarella cheese, lettuce, salsa and plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream for that added boost of protein. They are soo good! My hubby and both of my kids at that stuff up. This will be a regular recipe in my house.
Here's my food for the day:
B: 1 egg, 1oz pulled chicken, salsa and 1/2oz cheese on half a low carb tortilla, coffee with cream and splenda
L: 4oz pulled chicken with cheese, lettuce, salsa and greek yogurt on half a low carb tortilla
D: same as lunch
S: light and fit greek strawberry, turkey pepperoni and mozzarella crisps with the kids tonight. I'll let them help me make them.

Gotta get my scale moving, keeping the carbs down.
