I did it and survived my first 1/2 marathon!!
AMAZING!!! I always have wanted to be a "runner", but haven't had the motivation to actually START running! lol
I did Couch to 5k about 5 years ago, ran a 5k, then got pregnant and gained lots of weight with a high risk pregnancy. ugh Maybe someday I will start again!
You are inspiring me!
I know people say this. However, if I can do it I know that anybody can do it. All you gotta do is keep your head up and keep your feet moving.

Wow. That's incredible. Amazing. You should be so proud of yourself.

I am scheduled for my Roux-en-Y on March 1 and am looking forward to being able to run one day. I noticed alot of people on here eat less than 1000 calories a day. I am on 900 calories now for the pre-op diet and I can barely get through a one-hour session doing super-easy weight lifting with my trainer. I am wondering, what is your nutrition like?
I am not perfect by any means, but I focus on my protein and water intake. I am around 1000 - 1100 everyday and I walk a minimum of 10,000 steps a day.
