New here. Surgery date March 16th

Hi there! just got the call that i have my surgery date.  had a bit of an oh **** moment since i have been waiting for this since  Last summer. 

My nutritionist appt was in October so i am going to see her for a refresher , so i can remember all the post op directions.

I had my lap band removed 2 years ago due to an outpouching in my esophagus and incessant reflux . I loved my lap band. i was so sad that i had to have it taken out. I was exercising alot and thought i oculd do it on my own, but it was futile. and i gained every pound and then some back. 

I feel mentally ready to take on this challenge.

We're surgery buddies. I surgery the same day here in Toronto. Good luck with your surgery. 

Too bad with the lap band,  but the RNY souks help you and me shed the weight.

Where are you now? I suppose you're not having your surgery in canada. I wonder how many other Torontonians are on here.
