What's on Your Sunday Meny, RNYers?

Good morning, and Happy Valentine's Day!
Personally, I love the holiday! I totally buy into all the silly, schmaltzy, "Hallmark" stuff! But yesterday when I went into the Paper Store to buy Valentines, I was assaulted by how much candy is associated with the holiday. I'd really forgotten! It's a good thing I wasn't in a more tempted mood because there very easily could have been a Lindt ball incident! Luckily it's really cold today (high of -30 with windchills) so I'm not leaving the house! So unless someone actually delivers chocolate to my house, I think I'm going to keep the candy temptations in check.

Quick post as I am getting ready to head to church for music rehearsal. I will walk one mile briskly outside to go back up for service because hubby needs the car and my oldest has my truck at the inlaws house. It is miserable cold so suffice it to say it will be a brisk one mile. I will do another 3 on the treadmill and 30 minutes on the exercise bike later today. We are expecting snow again sometime this afternoon so I see many treadmill miles in my future. Maybe I will pull out my Jillian Michaels DVD tomorrow instead of the bike. Need to keep boredom in check for sure! I have also been switching up the programs I do on the treadmill to keep it interesting. Post op 41.5 months and weight at 123 today. Here's the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz turkey and 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz baked fish 1/2 c broccoli S 1/2 c cottage cheese. Have a great Sunday everyone and make good choices!
It was 53 in here this morning. That's chilly. I actually turned the thermostat up to 60. Outside temp when I got up said -7. It's up to -1 now.
Valentine's candy doesn't tempt me, except when I used to go to Gowell's, where they made their own chocolates. Ouch. These days I have a bigger problem with those Cadbury Creme Eggs that are starting to show up everywhere.
My inside exercises are recumbent bike, pushups and other assorted bodyweight exercises. I have about a million miles on this bike. Best money I ever spent.

Gowell's. Turtles. Yessssss.
Stay warm today. I cranked the heat up to 72 and I'm sitting under blankets watching a Golden Girls marathon.
Best. Day. Ever.

Running out to Needham now. Hardware store has a 36 inch wide snow shovel! I'm very excited. I'm bringing an extra battery for my heated jacket.
One of the theaters in Boston has a Golden Girls play.

I know what you mean. My treadmill and bike were both clearances when new models came out and have been so helpful in my journey. This morning I will be doing one of my 4 miles at a brisk pace outside when I walk to church. Love any variety I can get and that I can do it now. When I started my journey I was out of breath going down my basement steps and now I walk as far and as often as I can because it makes me feel great!
Morning everyone. Had a wonderful time last night and today. We're still at the hotel, Just getting ready to pack up and head home.
We did not get chosen to play the price is right. It was really fun anyway.
Here is my honey and me before the show:
I ate reasonably last night, except for some chips lol.
Breakfast today was 1.5 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 1/2 of rye toast (I'm naughty) and coffee.
I have no other food plans for the day, except I have at least 10 ounces of my 12 ounce prime rib with green beans which is at least 2 meals, and my husband got a 24 ounce t-bone and he doesn't eat left overs, so that's all me too.
I'll be meat heavy for the next 2 days.
Happy Valentine's Day.
