Burning in my pouch
Hello,
I'm 5 years out and have been feeling a burning sensation in my stomach. This only happens when I'm sleeping. The sensation wakes me up in the middle of the night. Has anybody have or had this issue. I use to suffer from GERD until I had RYN surgery. Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Thank you!
You should get checked out. Sounds like acid. Could be an ulcer.

Yeah, your regular doc can at lwast get you started. If he thought it was more serious, he'd send you to a gastroenterologist.
If it was me, while I was waiting to see the doc, I'd start an over the counter PPI, like omeprozole. That's likely what your doc wiil do, anyway. It will give them extra information as well. Keep in mind, it takes 4 or 5 days for it to have any effect.

GERD. I get that. Sometimes just because.... And often when I eat food I am allergic to. ..
It sucks.
Get checked for food allergies. Keep detailed record of what You eat and try to see if there is some food that may cause that.
