What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
There's a couple of things. The fat grams are actually more than protein grams. It acts pretty much like a liquid and lubricant. So it's really between 4 and 5 ounces of DENSE protein. I can't eat nearly as much chicken or ground beef.
I'm also 3 years farther out than you. You'll be amazed how much more you can eat in another 6 months or a year. I just had an endoscopy 2 weeks ago, and they said everything was just the size they expected. You can just eat more at this point.
If I was eating sliders or crappy carbs, I think I could literally eat all day long, as long as I wasn't cramming it in. That's the big danger the further out you get.
A sleeve of Ritz CRACKers goes down like nothing. At 480 calories, it's more than 20% higher than 8 ounces of sirloin tips. And with the CRACKers, I'm hungry for more, right away. The steak tips keep me happy for 4 or 5 hours. Being satisfied and not ravenous makes all the difference in the world.

I actually appreciate the exact posting. I am "new" and love any extra information people provide. My posts are the previous day because I work nights and when I post I am just rolling out of bed and havent considered the day yet.
Good morning! Here's my photo for the week:
This is the dress I am wearing tomorrow for our fancy Valentine's Day date. I've mentioned it before, but this weekend we are going to the Soaring Eagle Casino and Hotel and staying Saturday night. We've got tickets to see The Price is Right Live, and we'll be eating at the steakhouse at the Casino. I expect we'll do a little gambling, but what I'm really looking forward to is spending some time snuggling my honey without the kids bugging us. I love this dress, it's really beautiful. The fabric is really heavy and it just feels well made. After reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to get an XXL. It fits, but the dress has a lot of stretch to it, so I could have gotten an XL and it would have been snug. I'll make sure to get pictures for next week. I got a petticoat to go under it, so it will look full at the bottom. I'm really excited.
I love conversation hearts. I try to stay away from them, and there will be none in my house this year. I bought my kids each one of those little heart shaped boxes of chocolate for valentines day, and that is all there will be around. I'm sure they will both gobble it down in a few hours. there are only like 5 pieces of chocolate in each one.
