What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
No picture for me today... I am terrible at taking selfies and I will have to figure out how to post a picture here when I have more time.
I don't plan to eat any candy... that is not a trigger for me at all. It seems to be the grazing that I get in trouble with. I do have company in from out of state this weekend so going out a couple of times will be a challenge again. Dancing Saturday night so that will be good exercise
For my menu today I had just some coffee with genepro protein powder in it.
I will have my Cottage cheese mixed with light Yoplait yogurt for morning snack
L- Turkey sandwich with 4 oz of turkey on Daves thin slice bread (1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for afternoon snack)
D- probably chicken salad, we are going out with our friends for dinner.

I have lots of photos today. Scroll down for (1) Valentine's day for kids; (2) photos of the weird procedure I had done this week for the weird vein problem; (3) proof that my puppy CAN READ; and (4) my effort at a selfie!
First, Conversation Hearts:
So Cute!
Luv ur wurdz
Bad taste!
I bought some of the Sweet Tart ones--which I used to like--For Valentine's day for the kids. Here is a photo of one of our "you are sweet because . . ." Valentine's posters we do for each kid for Valentine's Day morning. We make paper heart pouches, put a little phrase by each heart with a little compliment or something fun about the kid, and put a little treat in each pouch. [In recent years have tried to do money, jewelry, and toy, so not as much candy.]
Next photos:
Showing the problem I had my surgical procedure for this week. I am so appreciative that the doctor thought of this unusual syndrome and went looking for it. I am optimistic for pain relief in the future!
Next, proof that my pup, though a chewer, is literate. So GLAD she looked at the titles before choosing which book to chew:
Finally, my attempt at a selfie. We were watching "Parks and Rec" last night, where Tom asks a celebrity if he can take her photo. He says, "I call it a You-ie! It is like a selfie, but instead I take a picture of you."
Still feeling yucky from the procedure on Wednesday, but my rough plan for eating: B: Fage plain yogurt with crabapple sauce; L: leftover chile verde with shredded cabbage; S: Kind bar--if needed--have been not hungry since procedure; D: No idea. Husband will be in charge of this tonight. I have chili portions in the freezer if needed.
