What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Morning AV & crew! I went to a funeral this morning for a long time work colleague. While I was sad about he occasion, I looked forward to chatting with people I've worked with over the years. But it was darn awkward because no one recognized me. I actually had to say, "its me, Shauna" a few times. I wasn't so fond of hear the "OMG your 1/2 your size" comment since my head jumps to doubling my current weight- and I wonder if that how they viewed me. Leave it to me to over analyze a compliment.
I don't have any awesome weekend plans (other than SHOPPING!). Both kids have projects to work on, I need to look at my taxes and figure out summer camp. Candy hearts- hate'em.

Came back from Atlanta and managed to register a loss!!! Super excited because I think it really shows my thinking is on the right track. I dont have to eat to vacation, have fun, blah blah blah. Also hit my 10k every day! My husband has a Pebble step counter but it is on the fritz so we are sending it back and getting him a fitbit when the new one comes out. I am excited because we are both SO competitive and I know we will have fun with it.
I am doing an all shake/liquid day today to get back in the swing of real life. Taking the kids to see Kung Fu Panda 3 and bringing a syntrax with me to the movies and going to throw it into my shaker when I get there. I am one of the weird ones that I LOVE to drink my protein. I could never eat a solid again and be happy but I am trying to break the carb cycle that happened a bit in atlanta, that thing is a monster to me and I dont want to get back there.
Conversation hearts...Meh. I like the sweet tart ones if that counts.
I always see you post the fit and go cottage cheese so I googled it to see what it was today and they had a POT style...at first I thought it must be Colorado based but then I looked at what it was....not nearly as fun as I thought.
QOTD: Conversation hearts - cute but not edible. I like cinnamon candy hearts, but won't have any this year.

L: salmon and ripe avocado

* I try to keep the fiber close to 30 gms, and supplement with Vitafusion fibre gummies when necessary.
The weekend forecast for SW Ontario is very cold, so my plan is to stick close to home. The dogs prefer short walks when it is really cold outside.
No weekend plans here, too damn cold. It's still 5 degrees here in beautiful sunny Rockland, MA. I plan on staying home and not venturing outside unless absolutely necessary. I could use a manicure, but it will have to wait until it gets warmer.
Love me some conversation hearts but will not buy them, have to say no to all temptations. Scale finally moved a bit, lost 2 lbs finally!
Time since surgery 9+ months

QOTD: I love candy hearts-they are in the same category as candy corn to me- I eat too many then I punish all around me until they are out of my system
Plans for this weekend in no particular order
pack for san francisco - This might be challenging- have plenty of tops but might not have enough pants that aren't jeans that fit.
Lunch with neighbors Saturday. This is my second restaurant (sit down) outing since surgery. I will scope the menu today and determine what I'm going to have. Its an Irish pub.
Go to the gap- have gap cash to spend and must not lose out. Been waiting impatiently to go spend my G's. lol
Decide what we are going to do with this stray puppy we found. She is super sweet but really likes to get excited and jump on our 3 senior dogs so they are quite angry with her.

Good morning! Absolutely no weekend plans for me and I'm totally good with that! I need some down time. Another really nice day today (ok . . . hot day around 88. Although I do feel guilty saying it, given that most of you are FREEZING), KQOTD - heart-shaped tums . . . sorry. Although I do like a nice sweet tart shaped as a heart . . . hmmmm I have to pick up a prescription today . . . a sweet tart heart may find its way into my cart . . .
Here's my food plan:
B: eggs and cheese
L: Left over zucchini boat
D: ?
S: Light and Fit and Peanut Butter
No totals since my menu is so incomplete (I HATE this), but I'm assuming calories will be in the 800-900 range with protein between 80g-90g. So far, carbs don't look too bad.
Have a GREAT weekend.
My sister in law bailed on our planned run last night because it was 75 at 6:30. She said it was too hot. Took class at the gym instead. It's supposed to be close to 90 on Sunday. The LA marathon is sunday and they are super concerned that people of going to pass out from heat exhaustion. I'll run tomorrow at the beach to take advantage of the beautiful weather.
