What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Not that I wouldn't eat a conversation Heart...but I don't think it was ever on the top of my list...
Pet Peeve of the day - I hate when I spend good money on something and I don't really like it. Boo. I have been doing and LOVE the Beach Body DVDs 21-day-fix since October-ish... Not that I had mastered it...you can always use heavier weights, more reps etc...to make it harder....and occasionally I do have to modify the modifier person... So I thought I would change it up and bought the 21-day-fix Extreme. I do not like it... not that extreme actually...I am on week 2, and I was like "give it a chance", and I am debating jumping ship today and going back to the other. $45. Boo.
AV I bought those same protein bars the coconut chocolate... They are OK..meh. But I bought a whole box, so I am eating them! hahaha my protein bar graveyard in my closet.
I did try something I surprisingly liked yesterday. I don't remember where I bought these on a whim... Coco Libre Ready to Drink Protein Drink. 20g protein, 130 calories. I liked the Chocolate better than vanilla (I always do)... but I liked the taste. Warning you do have to shake really well. If I saw these out and about and wanted something I would definitely buy again. At home I'll stick to buying Premier.
Saying it will -20 this weekend with the windchill. I need to go out and do something today, cabin fever...I will be hibernating all weekend I think.

I think about value often. Things that I use tons are so worth the money. Then there are always those that I end up using very little.

My wife is doing the Beach Body 21 day fix so I have been using her videos... I just bought some heavier weights yesterday so should be feeling it this week. I had considered getting the extreme to change things up a little but think I will wait for a while. The nicer it gets outside the more I will do outside but right now it is good ole Oregon weather rain, rain and more rain.
here is what I don't like about extreme - (some days I dislike more than others. )
- Too much jumping - it is not good for your joints. So I kinda jump but never actually leave the ground.
- The modifier doesn't really modify most of them. Their version of modifying in these DVDs is she uses a lighter weight... I don't need someone to show me that. In 21 day fix I don't modify all the exercise but there are about 20% I do.
- You have to use the resistance band, not optional. I don't mind it for arm exercises, but it is very awkward for leg exercises.
- The yoga day is the worst. She doesn't explain anything and just keeps moving exercise/stretch to exercise/stretch. I can't look at the TV and do the exercise at the same time. Turned that one off after about 10 minutes. Not in the rotation.
- Not that extreme, just different. There isn't really any floor/ab exercises..although she does say 'hold in your abs' a lot.
I bought it too because I wanted to 'change things up'... meh... I will probably keep it in the rotation because I bought it. Probably will do 3 weeks 21-day-fix /one week extreme/ repeat When the nice weather comes I will probably move outdoors too...

I'm worth it!
Years ago I knew someone who made glass paperweight. Real works of art. It's something I always wanted to try.

Yummy Conversation Hearts. I have been so good at avoiding them at the store everytime go in. I did buy the kiddos and hubs some sweet tart hearts. I may have to have one or two. Hopefully that will be enough. I haven't had any candy yet, so we will see how it goes.
No Pic yet, I haven't been ready to take one yet, but think I'm getting to the point where I might snap one soon.
