Yes its possible that formerly obese people can make fun of the obese now that they are no longer obese. I'm not saying that the op is doing that, but yes its possible. I realize that you're new but if you stick around you'll get an idea how people are based on their posting history, which might be a reason for some of the posts.
I agree there are different ways you can look at the puffing out of the cheeks, but for a lot of people when you're thin & you puff out your cheeks they can see it as her making fun of fat people, whether she knows this or not I don't know.
I know whenever anyone did that to me, I'd find it insulting, it doesn't matter to me what you are now, or was back then, the fact is you're insulting me now because I'm fat. The fact she was obese makes it particularly hurtful.
No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another.

This isn't someone getting undie-bundled over a meme; this is someone on an obesity website, who is just newly not obese herself and should still clearly remember how painful it is, being an ass to other obese people. That's not the kind of crap that should just slide.
