OVER OVER OVER!!
And now that my kids don't live at home (except for 1 step daughter) I don't usually have a problem with it any other way.
I have been at that aweful plateau stage for the last couple of weeks. UGH I know this too shall pass. I have been actually logging my food on Myfitness pal and being very careful about sticking to plan. I have messed up a couple of times by eating a extra serving of nuts here and there but nothing major.
Today will be the usual Coffee with premier protein for breakfast
L- chicken soup
D- Not sure yet (the wife is sick so I made chicken soup last night and may want something different for dinner)
S-
Chedz
almonds or chicken jerkey
Have a great Thursday everyone.
One of the small things I hated when I was huge was the placement of those gigantic million foot rolls of TP in public restrooms. They may have been ok for skinny people, but not me. They were always in the way, too far back, and right at hip or thigh level. I had to turn sideways so many times because the stupid things were always in the way.

Good morning! KQOTD - I am definitely in the OVER camp. I don't like having to peel TP off of the wall to use it and I think you grab fewer squares in the over position. It might be a bit of my OCD signing bright, but I have been known to flip the roll if I see it done incorrectly . . . I know that's borderline rude . . . ok, all the way rude, but I just can't help myself!
I really need to go grocery shopping, so today's menu is not the best.
B: 2 egg and cheese omelette (I wanted 1 egg and ham but someone ate all the ham. grrr)
L: the chicken divan I didn't eat yesterday
D: Zucchini boats (as long as my zucchini is still good)
S: Light and Fit and Peanut Butter/Somersaults
Exercise: 5 mile run
Totals: Cal. 936; Protein: 97g; Fat: 43g; Carbs: 38g

TP: Over. But in our house, in two bathrooms, it sits on the tank back because it just does. At my sister's wedding breakfast, some smart person got up to give advice-for-a-happy-marriage, and it was: "Just remember, toilet paper always goes over the roll." So, debate settled.
I had my surgical procedure yesterday. They DID determine that I have May-Thurner syndrome. This explains so much, and I am really glad to have had a perceptive doctor working with me. He did place the stent in my iliac vein--the stent is 2 cm in diameter, and 5.5 cm long! It presses into my spine now, and the back pain has been really nasty. But the doctor assured me this was common, and that it would go away in a couple of weeks.
I expected an easy day yesterday, then back to life today, but it looks as if I will need to take it easy for a few more days at least. I remain a little anxious about my husband's reaction to me being down--there was a hint of trouble when I got home from the hospital yesterday--but things are good today, and I am hoping for the best. Sometimes there is a delayed anger reaction from him, so I will have to be extra centered and aware for a couple of weeks.
It is really cold here, too, in the Wasatch Mountains. We have a lot of thick fog this week--we call it the inversion--the cold air sits trapped in the mountain valleys, trapped by the warm air above. If you were to hike to the mountain peaks, you would see the clear air above, and the fog sitting in the valleys below. The fog is so pretty. But the exhaust fumes from the traffic cannot escape the inversion. So it creates an unhealthy soup of nasty air. They usually keep kids indoors from recess when this happens. We have to wait for more snow to clear it out, and no snow in the near forecast.
We have a lot of leftovers in tiny containers in the refrigerator, and two of my neighbors caught wind of my medical stuff and they have offered to bring in dinner tonight. (yippee!)
B: I do not feel like eating at all. When I do, it will probably be almost lunchtime.
L: Leftover curried chicken with shredded cabbage.
S: Leftover salsa verde pork roast with shredded cabbage. (yep, lots of cabbage today--it is easy)
D: Whatever my lovely neighbors bring in. They both know about my WLS, so I assume it will be friendly. If not, I will find some other yummy protein leftover in the fridge.
S2, if needed: Kind bar. These are such a treat.
Happy Thursday everyone.
Who loves cabbage??!! Ewwwww.
