totally jealous you might go to the "beach!!!" Although I love my Canadian Winter's I do love a good beach and some hot sun!
Good snacks at a restaurant... not sure where you are going but here are some things I often get:
- boneless chicken wings, sauce on the side (or regular wings if you like them)
- chips & guacamole
- grilled shrimp or shrimp ****tail
- chicken quesadillia
- if the place has a cheese plate
- grilled chicken salad
- anything with beans or chickpea type dips (hummus)
- open face sandwich or a sandwich on wrap
that's all I can think of for now, good luck and have fun!

I am so jealous of your cleaning lady...and kids who clean!!
Are you getting any closer to a surgery date? Your menu's look great by the way, keep up the great work! You are doing so well pre-op!

Thanks! I love our cleaning lady! She only comes once every 3 weeks, but that's often enough to keep up with it as long as we vacuum and clean bathrooms/pick up. oh and the kids don't clean voluntarily, they have assigned chores. ;)
I go Monday 2/15 for my last medically supervised diet appointment and then will be submitted to insurance. I'm hopeful that I will have a March surgery date. Thanks for asking! :)

Yay its Weds!! Ugh its Weds!! Not sure which one it is but not close enough to the weekend.
Im not sure its my favorite chore but the laundry is my chore, probably because I am picky about it.
I like to clean/organize in the garage which is kind of weird since its the place where things seem to get put that nobody can find a place for.

This is my first menu post here, although I've been reading them with great enjoyment since before my surgery in 2014. I'm hoping that posting will give me the accountability I need to keep my calories under 900 a day and lose the last 26 lbs to reach goal.
QOTD: Shovelling snow, as long as it isn't too cold outside. You would be correct if you guessed that there isn't too much to shovel! And there's just something about creating a clean safe sidewalk, plus having a bit of exercise in the crisp fresh air, that is very satisfying.

L: salmon and ripe avocado
