What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
That's so cool! Right after college I lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, which also has a pretty big Norwegian population. That was a lot of fun.
We also have a lot of land (10 acres) and I hate yard work with the fire of a thousand suns. Pulling weeds and mowing the lawn and **** makes me want to die.

Oh My Gawd I would die to have 10 acres to get to pull weeds, mown the lawn and "****". That is totally my nirvana.... Call me when your grass starts to grow, I am so coming over! LOL LOL

The only redeeming thing about mowing the lawn is that all the bouncing around on the zero turn makes my fitbit count a crazy number of steps. Which I choose to accept as fact. LMAO
Good morning!
Enjoy your me time AV! As much as I love my "alone time" 5 days by myself might be a bit too much. Three would be great though. I can only imagine what I might accomplish in that time as long as I didn't have to go to work.
I don't have a favorite household chore, I guess vacuuming doesn't bother me much, except for the stairs, and I like making beds and folding laundry. I love a clean, sparkly house, but this house gets so dusty and the cats leave lots of fur everywhere, I'm constantly dusting and vacuuming. I miss my hardwood floors from our old house. One of these days we will upgrade the floors, the sooner the better.
My least favorite job is cleaning the bathroom. I have two bathrooms, one upstairs, and a 1/2 bath down. It seems they both need constant cleaning. Our old house had 3 bathrooms and they all stayed much cleaner. Don't ask why, but it was easier keeping 3 baths cleaner than two. I really miss having a "master bathroom", sharing a bathroom with teenagers is a pain.

Awful week!
Monday - DH met w/HR to get his severance info - job eliminated
Tuesday - Dentist appointment - never any fun
Wednesday - Electric off during the night during the night so no sleep; wiper blades frozen to windshield & somebody left them turned on last night so now I have a broken windshield wiper, got the results of my sleep test today and I need to start with a CPAP so one more hurdle to jump before there's any possibility of being approved for surgery.
Man, can somebody please give me some good news this week?!?!?

Well the good news is your windshield didn't break!!!!
Here's to a better day for you!!!
Good morning. AV, I agree, the week is DRAGGING! I actually have a 2:00 dr. appointment so I get a half day today, and I started out in court so my office time will be minimal. It's going to be another warm day so after my appointment, I may drive down to the beach and hang out for a while. KQOTD - I am a weirdo, but my favorite household chore is folding clothes. I hate putting them away, but I love taking warm clothes out of the dryer and folding them. Crazy, I know. My menu is once again up in the air. I'm meeting another one of my surgeon's patients today after my appt. I "met" her on another WLS site and she has an appointment today also. She wants to go grab a bite, but our appointments will be over at 3:15ish, which is a weird time to "grab a bite." Can anyone think of any appropriate snacks we can go grab? I'm open to suggestions.
Here's what I have so far:
B: Turkey, spinach and cheese
L: Chicken Divan (chicken breast and broccoli with a mushroom sauce)
D: Shrimp and asparagus (unless we talk for a very long time and have an early dinner. Then ????)
S:???
No totals, since there are so many holes in my menu. On the bright side, it looks to be very protein heavy, so I'm sure I'll be at more than 90g of protein for the day
