Another arctic type day here in Illinois so exercise will be 4 miles on the treadmill and 30 minutes on the exercise bike. Poor Lily is starting to pout but our high yesterday was 22 and that is just too cold for her, especially with snow on the ground. I bought her a pair of doggie boots last year but have yet to be brave (or silly) enough to try to put them on her. My favorite chore is doing dishes. I don't have a dishwasher and it's relaxing to me to stand with my hands in warm soapy water and I feel that I've accomplished something when I'm done. Post op 41.5 months and weight at 121.4 today. Here's the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli meat with cheese and 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz pork chops with 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt. Have a great day all and make some smart choices!
I will be the first to admin, I'm a bit spoiled. I don't clean the house and only do laundry on occasion. My DH does and he likes it most of the time. He says it relaxes him. I cook the meals/pay bills/manage finances and I do really like to do that.
Leaving for a work trip Monday (on a holiday day :( ) hate that. BUT I'm going to San francisco for the first time ever so I'm pretty excited about it. There is a gym in the hotel so I'm glad for that. Plus plenty of walking to do in the city.
It snowed yesterday most of the day flurrying so school is out today.
I think my centrum non chewable vitamins are making my pouch icky. I'm going to just stick with chewable today and see if it helps.

Wow, 1st time visit to San Francisco should be fun. Lots of site seeing to do fun places to go. I have been there a few times. Rode my motorcycle all the way from Portland Or to San Fran last year. It was June so wow was it hot and it was my 1st time riding that far but was a blast. I hated driving my motorcycle in the city though. That was a bit treacherous.
We did a lot of fun things though so enjoy. Maybe some nose plugs depending on what part of the city you are in. Smell of urine was pretty bad but could have been because it was so hot too.
Enjoy!!!!

Morning my fellow menu peeps! Thank god it is Wednesday, but agree AV why is the week dragging!!
5 solid days all to yourself, girl I am jealous! My husband used to travel a lot in his previous job and I loved the alone time every now and then. He doesn't travel at all now with this job and well sometimes ya just wanna be alone... I feel you!
OMG I was grinning like crazy when I read Anny's response to QOTD!! I can relate to EVERYTHING she said except that my Mom is a total and utter NEAT FREAK. Like OCD to the max. My sister and I joke that you can totally drop food on my Mom's floor, wait 10 or 15 seconds and it will still be fine since her floors are so damn clean. Like my Mom has made it her full time job to have a "perfect" house. When I go over with my dogs to visit, she will get up from having a conversation and sweep the dog hair. Yup issues....
So I hate housework, and I mean hate! But if and when I suffer through it my fav would be laundry. I LOVE the smell of fresh warm clothes out of the dryer. And mostly love doing my master bed sheets, nothing I love more then getting into bed that night with fresh clean sheets, the smell, the feel, its wonderful.

Today WILL be a good day, I will stay on plan!!!! My Zumba instructor is going to get me the name and number of the therapist that the local bariatric center works with, and she encouraged me to go to their support group which is open to anyone who is post op, even if you didnt have surgery there! I already asked my Mom if she could watch the boys. She didnt seem impressed, which is a whole nother story, but whatever, she agreed.
