It's a great system. And for those of you that get cold easy, they have a heated jacket that uses the same rechargeable batteries.

With a dog and a cat- dust bunnies/hair is my nemesis. I keep an electric sweeper broom thingy on the main level to try and stay on top of the hair. I won't get rid of the carpet upstairs though-- I just prefer it.

I may have to try that.  I have hardwood floors, but I also have a siberian husky that shed when he breathes.  I can sweep up all the hair, turn my head and it looks like I haven't done anything.  A blower may just do the trick. . . either that, or I need to start vacuuming the dog.

That's kind of funny Grim.

We have  a dog that sheds so much I very grateful not to have carpet but if I used the blower I would just be blowing his hair all around on the furniture and stuff.

We bought one of the pet bobi's that you can just have running and it really works out good. Especially since my wife has such allergy issues too.

Good morning AV and Gang. This will have to be short and sweet since our CFO is in the office today. I'm being very super sneaky getting this posted.

So, to answer the QOTD, I actually don't like doing housework at all, but I guess if I had to pick which chore that I like when it is completed is when the floors are freshly scrubbed and/or vacuumed. I have 3 cats, and obviously that lends to cat hair everywhere, so when it's up off of the floor it makes me happy.

6 months since surgery

Food:

B: 1 egg, 1.5 slices of bacon, 1/2oz moz cheese and 1/2 low carb tortilla (nomnomnom) coffee with cream and splenda

L: Tuna made with greek yogurt with tomato on a 1/2 a low carb tortilla and a pickle spear.

D: 4oz grilled chicken breast and green beans

S: Light and Fit Greek Peach yogurt, .75 of a quest bar

Totals:

Calories 780, Protein 93 Carbs 45 Fat 32

This menu makes me very happy. I feel like I can eat this food and be satisfied today. I'll let you know later how I do in the evening. I ended up having celery with natural peanut butter (peanuts and salt, no sugar at all) last night when my evening munchies came. It actually hurt pretty bad since I ate too much fiberous celery. That will deter me in the future, right?

I eat half of one,  it's only 40 calories and they are soft and yummy. I buy them at the grocery store,  not on amazon.
