I basically have nothing to contribute to the Valentine's gift question, but I wanted to ask this other day and forgot!

It is HORRIBLE but I'm totally falling into the "isn't it the man's job to get the woman a Valentine's Day gift and not the other way around" trope?

I mean I got a really sweet card for the fella, but...ugh....what else?! Considering just baking him his favorite cookies and calling it a day.

I think you're golden.  I normally buy him a card and a few Cadbury chocolate bars (his fav) but he asked me specifically not to buy him sweets this year :(

You said hubby is nerdy? Into gaming and stuff? Does he have a smartphone (I mean other than AV, who doesn't?)? I got the fella google cardboard as a Christmas gift and it is really cool. It's basically a $17 cardboard box that makes your phone into a virtual reality experience. There are all these apps you can download (tons of them are free) for both iOS and Androids phones. It's totally random, but fun.

I hadn't either, but I think I googled something like "Gifts for geeks" or the like and came up with it. It isn't like he sits around using it all the time - but we took it to the NYE party we went to and had fun with it and a couple of other get togethers. It's a good conversation piece for sure.

Maybe a special kind of jerky?
