This is really interesting...If you read all of my posts they were about ME....not you and anyone else...So, don't tell me to "calm down"

I've been on this site since 2008 and I have never encountered this type of communication with anyone...I don't find it necessary to respond to people I don't agree. Everyone has a God given right to their thoughts, beliefs and way of living. Who is HE to talk about when I came, left and returned?

If you (or anyone else) want to try Atkins, get the book from the library. You have run into a bunch of us who will plow through all your excuses and help you get back on track. I hope you appreciate that is what were are doing - we are not just arguing with you. You are on this site, you are my friend until you want otherwise.
PS - I may change my emergency plan from the 5day pouch test to the Atkins plan (I would get the book from the library).
I hate to plug anyone on here, but the Dr Phil books have a good approach to the mental piece - not that I could follow it pre-WLS. I was beginning to struggle a few months ago, and it was a help to put things in perspective. Now, I am doing Mindfulness Training, and that has helped more than anything with the mental game of this. You can get CD/books on it from the lib or download apps that help you practice.

Atkins started as a diet plan that anyone could do with regular supermarket food. It wasn't until much later they started branding and selling all their own crap.
You don't have to buy their stuff. And the Atkins plan is pretty much the same as our post WLS diet -- high protein, low carb. It's just stuff you can buy anywhere.
