What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Yesterday was a non event- Actually I didn't know it was the superbowl or even who was playing till yesterday- lol.
I did buy a giant shrimp ****tail ring at kroger and have been eating that since yesterday for meals.
Friday evening went to the auto repair shop and they had a stray dog came in (chihuahua). No one there was taking her home and she would have froze to death outside. sooo- naturally we brought her home. She is underweight and not fixed but super sweet and apparently is a stray. She is not annoying our other 3 chuhuahua's very much and that is quite amazing. Time will tell but I think she might be a keeper in our household. Like we need 4 dogs.
We are still having construction on our deck, it is taking near forever to get some darn stairs and screens on our deck. I'm so ready for it to be over.

If you already have 3 chis, how much harder can it be with 4? Says the girl with one dog. LOL
Good morning! Superbowl party could have been better, but today is a new day, right? The food itself was perfect for me to stay on plan. our host had shrimp ****tail and meatballs as appetizers and then deli platters for the "meal" All perfectly protein forward. I derailed myself though. I baked brownies from scratch and at the end of the game we were sitting around the kitchen table slicing the brownies into little slivers. Little slivers or brownies can't hurt you, right? They apparently can when you add all the brownie slices together and they equal 1.7 brownies. Ugh. Today is a new day, though and I'm going to work very hard to undo the damage. The leftover brownies are in the kitchen at work and I'm trying to stay low carb this week. It was a bad weekend for the 2016 brownie bonanza as I have a doctor appt on Wednesday, but oh well. Here's my plan.
B: Turkey, spinach and cheese
L: Hamburger patty with 1 slice of cheese, red cabbage slaw
D: Chicken divan
S: NO BROWNIES - Light and fit and Peanut Butter somersaults if I need to add a snack
Totals: Cal.: 986; protein: 89g; Fat: 45g; carbs: 47g
Yeah, the hostess of the SB party we went to made the most incredible chocolate chip cookies I've ever had in my life. EVER.
