Regimens for better skin? (face)
I have finished losing, and with 130+ pounds gone, I have plenty of extra skin everywhere. However, having less fat to fill my skin out on my face feels like it has aged me significantly with the wrinkles (boo!!). So I was wondering, does anyone have any wrinkle products they are in love with? I know most of them don't work, but some do have pretty decent results, so if you have one you love, please share. My body feels younger from having the weight gone, but my face definitely looks like it has aged!
I can't suggest a cream, but good hydration, good fats vitamins, etc can help skin condition. Plus as time went by - my body redistributed fat and my face got some fat back.
At the same time - I spent money on botox and some fillers... Botox prevented some deep lines from forming and fillers temporarily help with most trouble areas.
I also try to use good quality creams and makeup ... I use mostly natural products..and to prevent dryness - I used shower filter... Really makes a difference..

When I told one of my long-time friends I was having WLS, only like a true friend would, she blurted out, "you're going to get really old looking." It was, by far, the most favorite thing anyone said. What happened was my face turned into my mother's face to the point where people confuse me for her. Needless to say, that gives me motivation to save up for a facelift. So that's the secret I'm sharing--saving pennies on products for plastics.
Almost all of us get that look in our faces by the time we're done losing. The good news is, a lot of it will go away over the following year or so. Things really do settle in and move around. It did for me, and I haven't touched anything besides regular soap.

I feel the same way! I see a picture of myself and I don't know my face! I am 2.5 years out and things have moved around a bit and helped but...whew...it is strange. I've started using Roden and Fields Redfine with the micro roller and I know that my pores seems much smaller and some of the wrinkles seem less! It has only been since the start of December and it is darn expensive but I will be buying a second round as I'm happy with the results.
I second Rodan and Fields! I was a consultant but before I left I STOCKED the eff UP on Night Renewing Serum to use with my roller. The SECOND this neck/chin gets loosey goosey I'll be rolling like a mad woman. I stocked up on Reverse so I'll have to buy the Redefine regimen (for wrinkles) when I've gone through all of my Reverse regimens (that ish is like liquid miracles).
Yes it's expensive. Yes it's effective. If seeing the results is worth spending the money then I couldn't recommend the company more.
