What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

Yay, thanks for the post! I've thought about doing this,  but honestly I'm  lazy on the weekend.

About to get my hair dine and a facial,  but grabbed breakfast in the car.  Simple lunch,  no snacks really. Dinner at a fancy seafood restaurant tonight.  No totals today,  but they will be lowish.

B: Pizza quiche, coffee with cream.

L: tuna salad made with greek yogurt and a pickle spear.

D: some fish or shellfish. Nomnomnom

Maybe a yogurt as a snack. I'll be having a few drinks tonight as well at the comedy club.

Have a great weekend!

No fair Deanna--your weekend sounds so much better than mine. Hair, facial, comedy club, fancy dinner, drinks? I'm at the vet now, running errands later, then off to the gym. Wanna swap?

I really like you,  but umm, no.

I'm sitting here trying to decide if I want King crab alone or with a petite filet so I can eat steak for a few days... hmmm.

I love the idea of this for the weekend! Maybe if I saw this I would have opted for a different breakfast today! I did start the day with the circuit trading workout at the gym and some time in the stair stepper.

time since surgery: 9 months

M1: cream of wheat, 1 boiled egg/egg white

M2: cheese stick/cashews/fruit cup

M3: pulled pork (if no one else gets to it first)

M4: chicken sausage in sauce

all is very tentative since I'll be out and about today but at least I won't be wondering around with no idea of what I will eat.

Do you make your own pulled pork? I got some at the grocery store which was delish but very high in sugar.

This time I bought it from the Amish at a local farmers market. It's far better than the grocery store versions.

I have made my own in the past, it's super easy in the crock pot, season up a pork shoulder and cook on low about 8 hours, we add bbq sauce to each serving, not while its cooking. I don't monitor my sugar intake really, but am mindful of high sugar foods.

I'd like to pretend I will cook, but I totally won't, haha... But you inspired me to read a lot of labels at the grocery store and I found one that wasn't too bad and bought it. Keep and eye out for it on my menu all week!
