Ok, so I'm posting because its past when AV usually posts.  What do you have going on this weekend?  My hubbie agreed to take me to the Brad Paisley concert tonight so I am tickled pink!  We are going to go out to dinner before, OMG, its going to be like an actual DATE!  I don't remember the last time we had one of those.  Other than that the weekend should be fairly low key.

I cleaned up my eating this week and started exercising regularly again and low and behold the scale moved in the right direction this morning.  I'm down 3 lbs!

It's photo friday!  Post 'em if you got 'em!

My plans for this weekend are - in no particular order-

Finish cleaning and organizing closet.

Finish moving into our new antique booth (hopefully should be done today)

Going to zumba for the first time in 4 years

Grocery shopping

Sleeping IN!!!

Doing c25k once either Sat or sun

Read my new book

I went to GNC yesterday because they had sent me a $10 off $20 coupon and a $10 off $10 so I got a box of quest bars and the 4 of the potato chips and 2 individual shakes for less than $20 so I was a happy camper.

Also- I'm on a tea and decaf coffee kick- warm beverages are just so much easier to drink than water.

S: 1/2 quest and decaf coffee

L: not quite sure

S: other 1/2 quest

D: I think chicken meatballs

Did you put yourself on a mailing list for GNC?  I would LOVE some good coupon action!

It's been a while since I posted here. This is a really nice spot all of you have made, and a great group of people. It's fun seeing all of you interact.

Now, why don't I post my eating more often? Here is this past week's menu:

  • M: ham
  • T: ham
  • W: ham
  • Th: ham
  • F: ham

The only thing I've eaten the past 8 days is ham. It's a little extreme, even for me, but not outrageously so.

I picked up a couple of hams on sale at christmas. They were practically giving them away. I've eaten for 8 days for 14 bucks, about what I used to spend on one trip at a drive-thru.

I usually weigh out portions, vacuum seal them, and freeze for later. But I was out of rolls for the vac, and had no ziplock bags. So I just kept eating ham. Nothing with it. Nothing on it -- I hate condiments.

I doubt that anyone would want to mimic my eating habits, so I don't bother sharing. But I'm glad all of you do.

I LOVE HAM!  I really don't think I could eat 8 days of it but I could do 3 maybe 4.  We looked for cheap hams after Christmas with no luck.  Damn you!

89 cents a pound for spiral cut ham, with expiration dates good for 2 months. I should have gotten more.

I love ham too, I made a whole ham for Christmas, but half of the people that normally come bailed because my sister in law was diagnosed Epstein-Barr virus and they were paranoid about getting it.  I wasn't uninviting her, because she even offered to wear a mask if needed.  So, after Christmas I ended up with 2 gallon sized bags of spiral sliced ham.  I froze one, and we all ate ham for like a week. Then a week or two ago, I pulled out the frozen ham and we had ham again almost every night for a week.  I'll be looking to grab some more when it gets closer to Christmas.

I have a vacuum sealer in my basement that I never use, I should pull it out and start using it again.  Good to see you on the thread, and thank you for being so awesomely consistent on the forums.
