For Sparkle Kitty (Julie)
Hi Julie
I am posting this here cuz I can not figure out how to email someone not on my friends list. I get stuck in this loop of not being able to add your name...and if your name is added the body of the message goes
Here is the email I DID NOT send to you cuz I couldnt make the email work
HI Julie,
I am following up on your post pertaining to postpartum weight loss. The mailbox food vendor was HelloFresh from that Chef Jamie guy (I think he was the one that rooted out the "pink slime")
Anyway, I got 3 COUPONS from zuilly to try them out. ONe is something like 50 bucks off your first 3 boxes. The others are try your first order free.
I think the way it works is you pick 3 meals from a list of 6 every week and they mail them to you shipping is free (i.e. included in the cost of the box). I did the math and it is roughly 60 bucks a week for something like 3 meals for 2 people (i.e. 6 meals) and thus the cost to you is about 10 bucks a plate which is more than the grocery but less than a restaurant. Therefore, it is out of my family's budget.
In looking over the food selections over a 3 week period- about HALF of them are WLS friendly using low GI carbs (like squash and sweet potatos). The other half are noodly/carby/rice-y.
Holler if you want these coupons and I can mail them to you.
I am rooting for your continued efforts.

Thanks for thinking of me, very kind of you!
I found a place locally that basically does freezer meals for you, and there are lots of WLS-friendly options. I think I'll try that, especially since anything shipped would have to sit on my Arizona-desert doorstep.
I'll give that a try first, but I'll look into this site too later. Thanks!
