Today is one year since my surgery. I've been below my goal weight for about 5 months. Although I've had/still have some problems I'm glad I made the decision I made. Although it's hard to see it some times I try to stay positive and think that eventually my problems will disappear/be fixed and things will get even better than they are now.

Surgery date: 2/4/15

Highest weight: 315. Pre-op diet weight: 289.  Surgery weight: 260.  Current weight: 138  Goal weight: 160

I have seen/read some of the side issues you have had--not fun, not fun at all!  But I think it is awesome how well you have done since your surgery at losing the extra weight.  I expect things will get better.  Can you list things that really are better to help you when trying to stay positive?  Better energy?  Better movement?  Better hope for the future?  More confidence?

Congratulations, and best to you as you live each day.
