I'm only on 88 day streak now. I had a hard time early out logging everyday. During the week I'd be spot on, because I had a regimented schedule, but the weekends were harder. It's not that I was eating more on the weekend, because if anything I was eating less because I wasn't as conscious of my food, but now I'm into a habit and I keep my phone glued to me everyday so I can log and adjust if needed.
One day, in about a year, I will finally get to the 451 day streak, and it will be glorious!
I measured/weighed and recorded my food throughout the weight loss phase and during the first 18 months of maintenance. By then, I had a pretty good handle on my daily routines, so stopped to see what impact it would have on the scale. I maintained for more than a year with no issues. Now, I weigh and record my food whenever I'm trying to lose a few pounds to put me back under my goal weight, but there isn't a day that goes by when I don't measure or weigh several things. I weigh MYSELF daily lol.

I'm sure I'm in the small percentage that still track closely every day. I think most successful trackers, like you and Laura from Texas, only start weighing and tracking closely when you need to lose a few pounds to get back in your magic range. I'm just afraid that if I stop tracking, I won't make myself start again.

With the strength of your maintenance program, I suspect you may not always need to track daily, but if it's no bother, there's no good reason to stop. It clearly works for you.

You keep doing what you're doing. It works for you. I want you to stay healthy!! Too many people here fall off the wagon and never get back on.

I also weigh myself and record my food everyday. ( even on holidays at an all inclusive )
I find it keeps me on the straight and narrow. Seems silly but I am much less likely to eat something if I know I have to write it down later. Munching here and there can really sneak up on you if you aren't constantly mindful of every bite.
Some find it obsessive...but it works for me.
