Gall bladder woes....
I am having a ct scan tomorrow and may be saying goodbye to my gall bladder. They want to make sure it isn't. A liver reoccurence first as I had a severe liver complication post op.... But I had stones at surgery time and they said I would probably lose it eventually.
I am scared... I am tired....
Who has been there? How long were you down? I can't afford to miss anymore work. I missed over 5 weeks last year and alot tye year before because of severe ulcers that surgery fixed.
I am terrified of another surgery. I feel like I am just now recovering from my liver surgery, it was bad.
I had my gallbladder out 8 months after surgery. My surgeon promised me it would be a piece of cake (which I told him was a rude thing to say to a carb deprived person in pain) and it was. Surgery was on a Friday morning at 8:15, I was fully awake in recovery by 11:30, discharged at 12:30 and home by 1:30. I took a total of 3 days off work, including surgery day. and was on a fight the following Wednesday morning for work.
I can't promise anything, but I truly hope that your surgery and recovery goes as smoothly as mine did. You will feel so much better after!
I had mine out years ago and it was eazy-peazy! I was back to work in 3 days with no pain.
