What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning!
It never fails that I get kids songs stuck in my head. Yesterday it was "animal crackers in my soup", nothing like humming away to a Fisher Price tune. It happens way more frequently than it should. Or I'll drive several miles listening (and singing) to kids music before I realize I am alone and can change the tunes.

Hello all. What a night! Someone, somewhere was firing his shotgun all night. I have 'Ricochet' from 'Faith no more' in my head.
Both the kids made honor roll this term.YAY!!! College is coming too damn fast. Life is coming too fast. I don't know how I'll react when they start talking about leaving for school. I'm not ready for them to grow up.

Have a Wonderful day guys and girls!
I know how you feel! It was so hard when my youngest went away to college because he is very much like me. He also had epilepsy since age three and that was a source of worry too. He went to college about 11/2 hours away and had a seizure during the night his second week there. He went on to do fine and with lots of hard work and extra tutoring because of memory issues from his meds he graduated with a B minus average and a bachelor's degree with a major in biology and a minor in history last May. He is now working as a horticulture technician at a botanical garden in Kennesaw Georgia and loves his job. So they leave too fast and too far away but then you get to see the sensitive, kind children you raised become amazing adults and achieve their dreams.
My youngest went to Costa Rica for his Tropical Ecology class in college and I was so jealous! He came back with great pictures and amazing memories and went zip lining above the canopy of the trees. They take the trip since we have no tropical areas in Illinois and it was a great learningt experience for him!
