What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning, what a great pic. I thought of you over the weekend as we kept catching Globetrotters games on tv and my daughter was loving watching them. Congrats on the scale movement-you are doing awesome. My favorite protein bars are Quest ones (I try and stay away from any with chocolate as those sometimes cause some gas but other than that they are my go-to. I now might have to track down this power crunch one-sounds delish. My weekend was pretty low key, but I did decide to register for a 1/2 marathon that is on the 21st, I had been wavering on whether I wanted to commit (my daughter will be away at camp that weekend too) but decided to go for it!
Time since surgery: 17 months
B: SF latte, egg beaters with spinach, broccoli, and cheese
L: 2 boneless chicken wings, carrot sticks and a few fries
S: SF latte, L&F Greek yogurt, and Sargento balance breaks with almonds and cheese
D: Edamame spaghetti, ½ TJ jalapeno sausage, Alfredo sauce and some lemon "cheesecake" (recipe from Pinterest that uses SF lemon jello and cream cheese with an almond flour crust)
E: 45 min stepper
V/W: On track

I love that cheesecake, I made the SF lemon jello one for Christmas. I just made it again last night except used the SF Strawberry. Pretty yummy

Such a great picture of you and your son. Glad you had a good week end. I was a bad girl saturday. Ate cookies and candy. Back on the wagon Sunday though. I really thought after 13 months I would really have this sugar addiction licked. But it's tough. Do you ever struggle? What's your weakness?

I struggle every day, just at different levels. LOL My weakness is carb-y goodness; stuff like crackers and popcorn and any kind of potato. Mmmm...potatoes.
Did well this weekend, didnt reflect in a weight loss but I am down 12 pounds last month so I will take it.
I havent found a protein bar I like. I dont eat them often because I would rather have Quest chips if I am going that route. Just not a huge sweets person....
