Please tell me it's possible to lose 4.6 pounds in a little more than a week and that the scale isn't playing tricks on me!!

It is. But it's possible for the scale to go up 2 or 3 pounds doing exactly the same thing.

Don't get too excited, or too down.

Yes, you have just proven to yourself that it is possible, even at 4 years out. Good for you for getting back on track. Stick to it so you can reach your goal.

I didn't want to get too exited but I certainly needed that boost after the past couple of weeks I've had.  I wasn't too happy when I last posted. If I'm seeing results like that with the little changes I've made so far to get back on track, I can't wait to ramp it up more!!

You can do this!! Keep believing in yourself!! It's the biggest part of the battle.

If the scale hasn't moved for a while but then it suddenly drops several pounds, it means your body was retaining water and finally decided to let it go. This happens to me when I have been eating too many carbs, and then eat low carb for a couple of days. It also happens when you start doing more intense exercise because it stresses your body.

So this is a temporary fluke? :-(

it is only temporary if you go back to eating carbs. Eating carbs is going to make you hold water again making for a gain. Staying low carb will make it a permanent loss and you will began burning fat instead of carbs.

It could be temporary or permanent... It is up to you.

I can "lose" or "gain " 5lbs a week... Or even couple of days. No carbs after high carb days may result in my body flashing out the water ... Or extra BM I had... Or gain due high salt Chinese meal.. .. The overall trend .. To see the min and max...

This week my min is 162.. My max was 165... A few weeks ago... No meter what my min was 168... Max.. Don't even go there...

With my built.. 155 is the lowest I went to be.. For now..
